Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Nothing to update, but I brought my K1000 into the studio this week and thought I'd share.
Shot on Ilford Delta 400 and pushed to 3200 in D-76 if there's any film nerds here.

Warning: OT

Wow ... they still make that stuff ? Was a photo-nerd at one point ... used to have a lab push process the Ilford 400 of the time (maybe it was Delta but I don't remember that name).

{EDIT} Aha ... it was HP5.

Film is gaining in popularity again. Kodak is reviving a few discontinued film stocks, and a few new players have entered the game over the last few years. I work at a film lab and do my own processing at home too. The Lomography website and filmphotographyproject.com are great resources if you ever consider dipping your toes back in some C41!

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I used to shoot professionally. Delta 400 was my go-to for low-light work. I much preferred it to TMax or Tri-X, but I really loved what I could get out of Pan F Plus and Delta 100 using Perceptol, as long as there was enough light. I never really used D-76 much.

The Boss BCB-30 Challenge topic over at The Gear Page inspired me to give this a try, and it actually fits, and the cover closes. The only awkward part is that I would need a right-angle instrument cable for the HOF mini to the amp.

The Polytune 2 mini is being fed from the AD-2 DI output, and the BB-1X DI out is free to be used for the usual purpose.

Power is via a Godlyke Power-All 5 position daisy chain and 2000 mA wall wart. My box is actually a vintage BCB-3, not a BCB-30.

That looks awesome, I’m not familiar with xstomp. What is the function of each pedal?

You can load almost anything that you would like via their Bluetooth app. I am somewhat of an amp snob, and there are 2 amp models that I really like. Even as we speak, I'm trying to figure out which model I want to play tomorrow. The amp pre - which is killer, the Ampeg SVT, or the Ampeg Fliptop model.

I'm not a fan of the cabinet models, I think the pedals sound better without them.

Under ordinary circumstances, when I'm playing as a supporting bassist, I will use:
  • Keely 4 knob compressor model
  • Clean boost
  • Crunch
  • Amp model
When I'm doing my solo stuff, and I'm working with MIDI I tend to use different things like step filters, envelope filters, ambient organ tones, octave pedal.... It's EXPENSIVE to run 4 of them... but I really don't ever need to buy another pedal, because they are always adding new models.
