Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Oof - those hard couplers will kill those pedals eventually (since stomping on one will make the whole chain flex) - grab some EBS flat cables!

Those hard couplers can be ok when you have a sturdy board and all the pedals use the same chassis, I had some between some digitech pedals for ages, I'd try and find ones with ofsets though so the pedals line up straight. and maybe you could put a cable between the middle two to be safe.

Generally true when you are dealing with pedals that are different heights. Less of an issue when the pedals are the same height.

These buttons are also soft touch buttons... no super hard presses to get them to fire.

Thank you for the concern!

I would never use hard couplers, never. EBS flat cables are the way to go if you need to save space, imho.
I just set up a new board with those and love them. In this pic I am still waiting on two and the board is much better with them than in this pic. The difference between the EBS on the lower row and the "standard" cables on the top row is dramatic.

All good man, it's just one of those things that can go wrong for dumb reasons. The could just as easily make those things with essentially a flexible rubber centerblock and avoid most of the issue though!

I've had a re-think on my go-to pedal board ... going for a generally repeatable sound for almost any situation I came up with this. All of the pedals are bass optimized using internal switching and such, the Xotic SL is in "Superbass" mode, the EP set for unity gain with no treble boost, and the Voodoo Bass is the gatekeeper that sets overall tone and output the same signal the FOH gets my amp gets via the JDI. Powered by a Pedaltrain Volto battery it's dead quiet too.
