Here are a few more of my pseudo P basses. Jackson with added EMG Geezer pickup and a finished added to the neck and body as I detest satin finishes. My awesome 2005Reverend USA P/J (I also have a complete loaded J/J PG for it as well). And a Tele P parts build.

This is the Cheapie GC Jackson I paid $159 on sale at GC. With the addition of the EMG Geezer, this bass now plays and sounds WAY above of it's price point. I also had my buddy shave down the neck a bit when he refinished it. IMO The Amber tint looks far better on the neck as does the clear gloss on the body. Through that 74 Dual Showman and Rumble V3 single 15 cab it has old school P bass growl in spades. Not to mention Shark fins and pointy headstock vibe.

2005 USA Rumblefish P/J. This is an awesome bass. Resonant and full of punch. Neck feels like a well broken Jazz bass. It just "feels" right.

An Tele/P experiment that turned out to be greater than the sum of it's parts. Had a few issues making it all come together but I'm happy with how it turned out. In the picture, the color looks like faded Fiesta Red but it's really a reddish Salmon color in person.
