Going ampless with my fretted mouse. I need a better preamp and maybe a cab sim. The MXR80 is not cutting it. Any ideas?
Shiftline Olympic?

I wound up getting the EA iAmp Doubler with a Bergantino HDN 212. I absolutely love them with my Deep 5 and with my Charvel solid body. Very clean sound - my basses, but louder.
+2. I have a Berg CN212 cab that really suits my Mouse.+1
My EA iAmp300 + Bergi AE112 has been the best choice for any of the piezo equipped basses I've owned.
Wow...gorgeous top! Koa?I don't know if I ever posted photos of my Mouse, but here it is again...

Are there any MB-2 or Mouse owners in Northern California (SF Bay Area/Santa Cruz) who would ever be willing to let a fellow bass enthusiast try theirs? Also I can reciprocate by letting a Rob Allen owner try out my 5 string short scale Birdsong (in the picture) and a couple of Birdsong's simpler ShortBasses, if anyone is curious about those.
Thank you! If you do have a get-together, or if you ever have a moment to demonstrate your RA, I'd love to come by.Sure. We may even have a Bay Area GTG soon.
Would anyone with both an MB2 and Mouse be willing to post a side-by-side picture?
