Hey all,
I had a colleague make a ramp for me out of ebony earlier this year, for my Pedulla Thunderbass. He radiused it to 15" also.
I installed it on the bass (using the thin double sided tape), realized it was too high, and sanded some material off of the bottom. I reinstalled it & it seemed to work fine - except that it negatively affected the sustain of plucked notes. They would decay more rapidly than without the ramp. I took it off after about a week.
If anyone is interested in it, I am willing to part with it (no charge). The dimensions are for a Pedulla Thunderbass, but I'm sure it would fit between some other pickups as well. It just wasn't for me.
