My earlier comment was not specific to this thread, just to clear that up, but I think that you're ridiculous. I think your collection is impressive, but only as a display of greed.

I don't think there's anything to be said for having basses for every week of the year when there are people living brutal lives all around us. I fully expect to be countered with the "free country" argument, so I'll just put it out front that freedom shouldn't be confuse with a lack of morals. And yes, I find it immoral. I think, and I'm sure few would disagree, that there is immorality in avarice and conspicuous consumption.

I don't think you've brought anything to this forum apart from a hell of a lot of jumping smileys. I'm sure that all your basses are beautiful, subtle works of craftsmanship, and that your taste in instruments is oh-so fine, but I am having trouble holding my tongue over this. I'm insulted by your unrelenting flaunting of your wealth, and although I know many here disagree, I think it's in extremely poor taste.

As a last-ditch attempt to keep politics from being dragged kicking and screaming into this thread, I'd like to say that I fully support your right to as many basses as you want, but I just don't think that it's right.

Fm..I respect your thoughts, but you really know nothing about me...Ive been playing/collecting since 72 and this is one of the few passions that I share with others,,,,as for others living brutal lives around us, my contributions to churches and charities far outshine my bass family...I am a very active person in my community in trying to improve it and help others also....so please try to be a little more understanding of your fellow men....there are several other members in our forum that makes my collection seem minute...we all are happy to share our collections with our fellow TBers.....so enjoy this forum...Iam sorry our collections bother you...but I respect your opinion and apoligize if I have offended you in anyway.....Just enjoy the forum and be happy !!!!!:)

Hey fish man, the cost of your bass, amp, and internet connection could have fed a starving family for a year. To a family with nothing you are just as wealthy and extravagant in your purchases as CTbass&birdsong is. Next time try to hold your tounge a little better

Now everyone, back on topic. More fretlesses that look good but are hard to play :D
