singlecut chambered.

I sealled the fingerboard with Krazy Glue, sanded it up to 2000grit, and painted the ingravingings, but decided i didn't like the ingravings so i filled them with wood glue, and CA.

Its a mirror at the right angle

Man Jordan, I've got to say that's a fantastic bass. The detailing in the F holes is pretty sweet, and the woods to together very well. The only thing that kind of turns me off about it is the extension of the neck thru out past the edge of the bass, but that's a small little taste thing. I can't wait to see this thing when it's all done and finished.

that will be cut off after the sides are glued. it just aloughs be to get a better clamping on the bridge end.

The hollow-body, and its half-brother. same general design, and the fb's came from a piece that had been bookmatched, so they are exactly the same, graining, coloration, everything, except mine was sealed with CA (and a few other obvious things, but they are the same piece, basically)

merry christmas everyone! no pics right now, but i got a nice finish sander for christmas. Since i contoured the halves before i glued then, they were a bit off, curve wise. i used the thickness sander to even all that out, work out the dings, and sand it all up a little. Wow the maple has a fresher color! its looking pretty sweet. If someone in town will lend me there garage (its a blizzard outside, and my parents think wood dust will clog the giant freezer), i can route it for pickups, and smooth out the neck transition with the disc sander during my winter break.
