Actually, who owns the airspace does matter. If it's not on his property, it's not trespassing. As to "it's coming down"...what are you going to do? Fire a gun in city limits? Accurately throw a rock 100 feet and knock it out of the air? What major league team do you pitch for?

A sling shot you can get at a sporting good store would take it out and not violate discharge in city limits laws but it might other laws. Maybe the victim could show it as a warning. The drone owner might get the hint and leave the residence alone.

Yeah sorry, I fixed it. It's a slingshot - a 'wrist rocket.' Very powerful and effective against plastic and foam. It would obliterate that machine . Silent, legal and about 10 bucks.

And also classified as a weapon, to be used for small game hunting. Because of this, many places require a small game license for the user of a wrist rocket or other powerful slingshot.

Aquanet hairspray is the explosive charge that makes the potato gun fire. Small PVC compression chamber with screw on plug at the rear and drilled to accept a small lighter/spark creator.

Lots of Aquanet in small place + ignition = BOOM.

Nowdays the government probably protects us from combustable hairsprays so other accelerant may be needed.

Go to a paint store and buy cans of Verathane spray lacquer- it's still nitrocellulose and it's just as combustible as ever.

where one of these babies comes in handy , may not knock him out of the sky but the site of a spitfire MK9 buzzing him ( though I have heard of bb gun mods done to these before) may drive a point home . I have one and including the retractable landing gear mods , controller and batteries , cost was around 300 bucks, I came up behind a guy flying a COX trainer with it and he couldn't shake me lol. Wing span is 4 feet on her and actual speed of 125 MPH flat out , maneuverable as hell

Hey OP, how did the antidrone turn out?

Have not seen or heard the drone again from time of original posting. One of my neighbors contacted the suspected drone pilot and gave him a nasty piece of their mind.
I did purchase a cheap drone off of Amazon which turned out to be a waste of money. I could not get it assembled correctly and it has never flown.
