Small(ish) cab to pair with an SVT

The site's been wonky for the last couple of days. But yeah, there 's a 12/6 "Cube" variant that's 20.5" wide, same width as a 15/6. A regular 12/6 is 24" wide if you use it sideways.

True. But hearing that sound for the first time in a long time made it worth the hassle to drag the head out. The 610? Oy.

Yeah I get that, although to me the 810 fridge is more than half of what makes an SVT what it is. I spent a ton of dough building myself a tube preamp that would give me the exact play feel I wanted at that time. More than a used SVT costs, easily. But it still took both of my (heavy!) 115 cabs to get me in the ballpark.

I have an old Peavey 210 cab that if you could find one like it, you can lay it down and the head would fit. It's slightly wider that way than my 810E cabinet. It has Hartke replacement 10's in it that the dude I bought it from put in it and sounds pretty good overall. I suppose most 210's would work for you regardless of brand. I just couldn't find an Ampeg after a long time of searching (then of course a week later one came up about an hour away for 100, yes only 100 dollars, in awesome shape. Should have bought it anyway then sold this other one).

Anyway, I used to use it at church and keep the 810 at home and it was more than enough for the church gig by a lot, but I wanted to share that Ampeg tone with others and now keep the small cab at home and have the 810 at church. Granted, my SVT-7 Pro still doesn't match your original SVT tone, but my personal feeling is in line with some others that the cab does make a difference as well. To me, my 210 sounds great, but it is not that same tone as the 810 provides with the same head. My "killer" SVT tone is better with my Ampeg cab, then my belief is your even more "killer" SVT tone would be even better through the cab that was designed for it.

I need something that looks good with the SVT. It has to be wider than the head. I can't do the thing where the head hangs off the sides. Honestly, I don't need a ton of volume. But if it performs, that's great too. But a 115 or something like that should get me done.
What's out there? I need to put a ridiculously heavy head on top of a no-so-heavy/large cab with a black grill (or something else that will look good with the SVT).

Personally, I think a pf210 would do the trick. Still beefy, still 50lbs, dope as hell looking, and 450w

Relatively recently, owing mostly to getting old and back problems, I've been running my GK MH500 through a TC Electronics K210 and the sound definition is off the charts! At first, I had issues comparing the sound to my old GK 410, but the GK amp really gets a sweet sound out of that cab. Plus, it's really light and easy to plunk even in smaller cars.

Why not just stand it on top of a stack of those chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies you been telling us all about? I reckon that would look good and taste better :)
