Nice! A Crate BX-15 was the practice amp I first got when I was starting out in early 1994. A lot of magazines said that Crate bass amps sounded cold, contained, or boxy, but I dug the sound out of my Crate. Nice little amp, it was. Surprisingly sturdy too.
Yes I can picture a record cover with Village People in front of an hospital with the title “Cruising in the thrift store”.“Cruising in the thrift store” would be a great album title for a boy band. Or for the Village People.
