Yeah but think how distinctive eighty five 1" speakers would look. It'd be like a big orange and black insect eye.If it's eight 5" speakers, Phil Jones beat them to the punch by decades. Seems like a lot of hype all for naught in that case.![]()

It means I was born too late. To have been in Europe to see Nuvolari, Ascari, and The Silver Arrows at the Targa, the original Monza with the double loop high banks, the Alfas, the Maseratis, the test track atop the FIAT factory, would have been something.Targa Florio ring any bells with you?
Their ad image has dude balancing (or spinning) a cab on one finger like a basket ball or the Circus plate spinners.
Looks like cabs are lighter than current, you can run with it or spin like plate or basket ball.

Okay, plausible... now what if the speakers rotated inside the caban omnidirectional 5x8,in a revolutionary Italian design cube combo

I have the ultra light GR 1x12. Damn thing sounds FANTASTIC and weighs in at 19 lbs. Just got home from a rehearsal with it, as a matter of fact

Yea, I did buy pretty much the entire MoMark Modular bass head system…abandoned shortly after release. It seems like every time Markbass has something new and revolutionary it is on clearance within a year. Maybe it will be awesome, but if the product was really incredible, we wouldn't need the marketing hype.

That makes me think of the wheels of the 1987 Porshe 959. The alloy wheel material was so revolutionary that they were worried it might fail and needed some sort of sensor to keep an eye on it. Their solution was to make them hollow and part of the pressure envelope of the tire itself. So if any micro cracks started in the wheel, the tire would leak air and the driver would be alerted to the problem. So, these are sealed cabs, then, eh?![]()

Helium inflated cabs, perhaps?

After you've tried 78% nitro, doing anything else just seems silly.I have all of my cabs infused with 78% nitrogen. It really is the sweet spot.
