Song Set List Biker Bar

This is just one of those songs that everyone pretends to want to hear. Always. Change my mind.
Well, it's a piece of crap song that serves as an intro to a fantastic jam/solo/vamp break outro (the polar opposite of Layla), so I'm not surprised at that assessment, but you just KNOW there is one dude in the bar that really REALLY does want to hear the whole thing, note for note because no interpretations are acceptable to that dude.

We're a 3 piece and play Born To Be Wild at a few of the biker bars we play. Always gets them going.
Classic/Southern Rock, uptempo Blues, a wee bit of Country

Just about anything by Skynyrd, CCR, Elvis, Dwight Yoakum, Stones, Beatles, Cash, Garth Brooks, John Meloncamp, AC/DC

We also get a good response from The Monkees, David Bowie, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, Van Halen...

I have found that Gov't Mule (Bad Little Doggie in our case) went over peoples heads and wasn't danceable, but YMMV. Don't think they're as popular as they should be up here.

Edit: ..Jeez, I forgot Stevie Ray Vaughn!

This is a toughy because not only must a three piece ( are your vocals tight? ) do-able song but something that doesn't clash with the headliners list!

The Stones Can't you Hear me Knockin is a good one.
Wild Eyed Southern Boys by .38 Special
Hold on Loosely for the ladies by .38 Special is a keeper and one guys dig too.
Stayed Awake all Night by Krokus could be pulled off if the bass pulls rhythm guitar duties.
Take it Easy by The Eagles... could be challenging as a 3 piece and could be a headliner conflict. Still, it's aimed directly at your target audience.
Ghost Riders in the Sky ~ Classic possible conflict but too good not to mention. Aimed at the older in the crowd.
Country Song ~ Seether ( I enjoy the hell out of playing this one personally. )

Bar flies (even bikers) are usually ignorant to kick ass music. As long as it’s loud and 4/4, you’re in. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a 4/4 guy all day. I just started playing the bass last year.
