I'll mention two here - in no order of preference. My home province of Nova Scotia is mentioned in "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon and at the end of "Dancing in the Streets" by the Mamas and the Papas during the talking part. Denny Doherty (one of the Papas) was from our provincial capital Halifax and I'd guess that's the reason for the mention. Cool idea for a thread!

Uncle Floyd is a funny guy who used to have his own comedy show on early cable tv back when he is a great guy and allowed up and coming original bands to perform on his show mine was one of those as was Bon Jovi. He comes out to our shows sometimes and he opened for us a a ST PATS outdoor event.
