Extra point if you know who played Bass on these cuts. I was thinking possibly Bob Glaub on the JB cut...

I'd have to agree with you there. Glaub was pretty much JB's go-to bassist at that time (circa '82). Now please excuse me while I cue up The Cars' "Moving In Stereo"...which for some bizarre reason didn't make the Fast Times at Ridgemont High soundtrack.
