Songs you just won't play

I will play anything if there's money involved. My artiste days ended when I was 21.

One tin soldier rides away........................

one of my favorites, got the single when the movie came out and it still plays! So vinyl trumps CD. But don't put candy in my order, or I'll go over to Musician's Friend. Yes, I'm down to one bass to rule them all! But I still want that 4003. Listen children, to a story, that was a-written long ago, these TIs are floppy but JJ used the magic thumb and if it is good enough for JJ, I just don't get Jaco but I respect him peace on earth was all it said

Totally intended to be lighthearted conversation, and not serious discussion. Play what you like.

However, there some songs I just won't play. Ever.

1. Anything from Lynyrd Skynyrd.
2. Radio country.
3. Eye of the Tiger. (My high school's mascot was a tiger and I was in the marching band, jazz band, pep band, all the bands. We played this horrid song a zillion times and if I never hear it again it'll be too soon. In fact, just recently I left a restaurant while waiting for a table because it came on the overhead. Grrrr......)

So, what won't you play? :)
Billie Jean. It just hurts

It is fun to rock for a little while though.

I will never play rap or hip hop.
Do a cover of Baby Got Back and watch how much fun to watch that front row of ladies becomes.

I'll never perform Free Bird ever again as long as I live. I did back in the early 2000s with my old rock cover band at a private party for a group of drunk scummy country folk, and the people made us play it about 6 times. We were gonna say "ok enough" when we finished attempt #3, but someone hurled some choice words & a car battery at our drummer and tried to start a fist fight, so we did it again...3 more times...

I said I would never play Sweet Caroline until I subbed for a band that played it.
I'm a semi-pro bassplayer and if I'm hired to do a job, I'll do it unless I don't feel fit to do it.
I had to play some songs that I really hate just because it's my job to do so. That's just it. The money doesn't walk into your pocket by its own.
