source audio c4

I’m getting tempted to ditch the Darkglass and try out the Aftershock with the Neuro Hub as right now the X Ultra is the only thing I can’t load presets into :D
Welcome to the wonderful world of midi controlled pedals. I jumped for a Boss ES-5 a few years back as my midi controller and I haven't looked back since. I'm currently running two Source Audio One Series pedals and a hub and hopefully I'll be adding an EQ2 once they are available in the UK. Older analogue pedals seem SO limited compared their digital / midi versions. The only thing I can't find as a digital / midi option is a small compressor.

The Spectracomp is small and digital and, apparently, you can send it sysex messages.

I had asked Jesse at SA whether they might someday make a One Series compressor.

Yep, It's currently the only digital option I'm aware of (not counting the Sonuus voluume pedal). I'm holding out for SA to make a One Series compressor. There's been a few dialogues over on the main SA thread.

Hi all, with my C4 I'm trying to figure out how to use the Neuro app a little better. Can you not drag and drop presets around that are already burned to your device? I have a few presets that I edited, but now want to move them to the preset shape spots on the pedal. Sorry if this has been asked and answered before.

I don't believe you can just drag and drop them, but if you use the Desktop Neuro editor it is easy enough to open the presets on your pedal then burn them again into another slot. If you want to keep all of the sounds, you might want to save them all into your library first before overwriting them

This is a function which doesn’t currently exist but one which I raised with Jesse and he said he’d look in to it.

For the present, you’ll need to load the patch you want, select “save as” and save it to the new location. Alternatively, if you’ve downloaded patches from the cloud (using the download symbol in the neuro desktop editor) or saved your own to the cloud then you can simply look at the “my library” tab in the editor and click the burn icon and choose the location you want it saving to.

Hi Guys, need some help from experts here...I can´t load any of the Spectrum patches on the C4. Using the mobile or ipad Neuro app the pedal is not picking up the patches, only the C4 ones...Anybody experienced the same problem? I have updated to the latest firmware and Neuro app.
Cheers!

Can't load them at all, or just can't find them in a search of "C4 compatible" patches? If it's the latter, there's currently a known issue where the search isn't pulling up Spectrum patches when searching that way. Have you tried searching just for Spectrum patches specifically?

5sg.

I can see the patches in the app, but when I click them to send them to the pedal nothing happens
When sending a regular C4 patch you see a green light flashing on the pedal, but with the spectrum ones nothing...:(

I have a C4 coming in soon. Will the Roland Um-One mk II work as an intermediary with the Morningstar MC6? I’d rather not have to fork out additional funds for the Hub or Ghost. TIA.
Nope, just buy the Hub, they’re pretty cheap (new or used) plus you’ll get more preset space.
