If still connected to the desktop editor, either press "save" to overwrite it, or press "save as" to rename it and/or move it to a new location.

They are all great. However, I just sold the Josh Wah in order to part fund a Chromatron that came up.

The C4 patch is one of my Microtron presets. I think number 11. Here for Spectrum:Neuro Community by Source Audio

They are the same, just slightly different knob assignments as Spectrum has two extra top-level controls. The C4 one is done so that the two control knobs do what they would do on the real Microtron.

Also if you just want to save it where it is on the C4 quickly you can hold down the foot switch until the pedal light does a series of fast flashes and stays on solid afterwards. At least that's what I have been doing.

Which preset mode are you in when you do that? I’m in default mode and a long press navigates between red and green mode.

This is what I was trying but whenever I would swap pre sets then go back to the one I edited, it had defaulted back to the original settings. Not sure why?

Hitting the "Save" button is working for me so I'll make sure I'm editing stuff on the desktop.

That is what it is supposed to do.

One preset mode jumps back to the stored settings if you bypass and re-engage the pedal.

The next preset mode keeps the settings if you bypass and re-engage.

In both the above modes the pedal reverts back to the stored settings if you toggle to a different preset and come back.

In WYSIWYG mode, the parameters immediately jump to where the physical knobs are. This is more like a traditional non-preset pedal where the knob positions are always live.

I'm going to have to check on that. I'm using the C4 with a DMC.MICRO plugged into it. It definitely remembers what I had set the knobs to on each patch after I save it that way. I never use the toggle switch to select patches and I have not yet plugged it back into the PC to view the settings. But I'll do that after my gig this Friday.

I have my C4 on the way and curious about signal chain in regards to a compressor and fuzz so I can kind of start planning new board layout. I see most people put their C4 before the compressor, I also play on keeping my envelope (Fwonkbeta). Wondering about running the envelope prior to the compressor, then putting the C4 afterwards either before or after the fuzz? Any thoughts? How touchy is the C4 regarding playing dynamics vs. getting a constant input?

Slightly excited if no one can tell from all the questions.

Try C4->Fuzz->Env->Comp and see how that works for you. I like running some of the non-filter C4 presets from the community into an Envelope, sometimes with great results. This way you can also dial up an octave sound on the C4 and run in through your fuzz than envelope for traditional octave, fuzz, Env filter synth tones. The C4 tracks very well and I do not believe you need to put the compressor in front. If you have any issues you can try moving your compressor without having to mangle your chain. Let us know what you end up doing.
