source audio c4

Pretty decent actually. Not perfect of course, because I suspect Chris has a number of things going on (and maybe some studio magic?), but I was able to pull off a pretty passable patch for it on the Spectrum. I'll see if I can get an audio sample recorded this evening and upload the patch!

Okay, sorry for the delay, kids... I just uploaded my Muse patch to the Neuro hive mind. Not perfect, but not bad (I think) for not knowing exactly what Wolstenholme's actually got going on.

Turns out I could do it on the Spectrum, so having it available on both that and the C4 is a nice bonus.
It's a pretty highly sensitive patch, so it definitely falls into the Source Audio rule of adjusting the patch to your particular gear and play style.

I also uploaded a patch for Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia. Turns out this one also kicks ass for Locked Out Of Heaven from Bruno Mars. Add some light chorus to this one for some added sparkle.

More Spectrum patches to come... need to record audio, and just struggling to find time. #lifegetsbusy

These sound great!

I feel you on struggling to find the time. I invested in updating to Ableton 10, better studio monitors, and the HX Stomp as an interface; but I never get to use all 3 because of my schedule conflicting with my partner and my roommates sleep schedule. I crave an isolated space.

Thanks for the props! That Future Nostalgia patch has already become on of my fav personal C4 patches... I built it for that track, but it seems to fit well in a few other songs as well, along with being a nice "all arounder" synth patch.

Hopefully I'll be able to find time to record audio for my other patches in the next few days. I've got C4 patches for Subdivisions (Rush) and Don't Start Now (Dua Lipa) and four Spectrum patches that are darker and/or dirtier variations of the Tron patch (2 have up sweep, 2 have down sweep). Hopefully I can clear a couple hours this weekend to get them all finished up. (Seems like I've been saying that for a while now though and other stuff always comes up!)

Thanks for the kind words @RickyT, I'm glad you're enjoying my patches! I spend a lot of time (probably TOO much ;)) trying to get them right. Creating... Revisiting... Tweaking... Adjusting... lol It's good to know that others are finding enjoyment from them as well! A little justification for spending the time, and maybe a way of paying back the TB community for all the valuable information over the years.

FYI: I just posted those patches I previously mentioned, and a new one! Audio samples in the main Source Audio thread and presets available on the Neuro Community!

I'm able to temporarily copy a spectrum patch to my c4 but I cannot store any. I try to burn them but they don't truly "burn", when I switch patches and go back to one that I thought I saved a spectrum patch to is not there. Is there a way to save spectrum patches to the C4?

I'm using the mobile app, in case it matters.

Also, it would be great if the mobile app showed me what patches I burned to what patch numbers.

Hello again!

Maybe I’m missing something simple but, I can not figure out how to route one voice to output 1, and a seperate voice to output 2. I’m using mono on input 1. This is possible right??

My test patch is just octave down on one, octave up on another. I would like the down on output 1, up on output 2. Any help is appreciated as this is driving me mad, all I’ve been able to get is both octaves coming out of both outputs.

Use "Processor Pan" on each voice to send to separate processors, then under "Mix 1" and "Mix 2" set the separate destinations as "Output 1 Only" and "Output 2 Only" for each respective processor. You will be able to have separate filters for each as well, though the distortion section is unfortunately dependent between channels (you cant have two seperate distortion types, though you can adjust the amount, etc on each channel)

Did you mean you can adjust the distortion amount separately on each channel? Unfortunately that isn’t the case; all distortion parameters are duplicated.
