I just got my hub and gecko one control to go along with all of my SA pedals. I was playing around with it today setting up the gecko/hub to get a ton of different presets with the OFD.

now that I own all of the following SA Pedals:

SA221 Soundblox2 Multiwave Bass Distortion
SA226 Soundblox2 Orbital Modulator
SA223 Soundblox2 Manta
SA228 Soundblox2 OFD
SA225 SoundBlox2 Dimension Reverb
SA141 Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro
SA143 Bass Envelope Filter Pro
SA170 Programmable Equalizer
SA164 Hub
SA161 Expression Pedal

it looks like I have a lot of work to do with the Gecko. ;)

now I wish that I had a program for a PC so I could see what all of the settings that i'm saving actually are.

I use 2 1spots on my board with 20 total pedals including the hub and three SA pedals. That said, most of my pedals are analog dirt pedals that require very little voltage. I've got the 2 of the SA one a 1spot, and the other one + the Line6 M5 on the other. 1spot has 1700mA, and like John said, these pedals use a little under 140mA, so unless you have a TON of extra pedals, you should be good to go.

Cool; thanks, John. In addition to the SA OFD, I'll have my Boss TU-2, DOD Bass Stereo Chorus, Boss Bass Flanger, Boss RV-3, MXR MicroAmp and possibly my MXR BFD. If I can make do with a single OneSpot, that will be great.

You should be just fine. Here is an idea though, I have a power strip mounted to one of the legs of my board. I plug two 1spots right into that along with a single extension plug that i use to power a boss A/C adapter that I use to power my B7K. It works great. My point being that If you have a power strip mounted under your board you can have one 1spot and the other single power supply SA provides with the pedals they sell to power the SA pedal IF you get any residual noise. It works out great for me. I even plug my amp into my board when not enough wall sockets are available, which is rare, but it still happens. And I like the fact that I have an extra spot or two open on my power strip under my board, really comes in handy.

Yeah, 1-Spots seem to work fine for me as well.

I use three 1-Spots although it is overkill, I could maybe get by with two.

Here is what three 1-Spots power:

-Wounded Paw Blender v4

That's 23 pedals, some of which are high current drawing ones and no issues at all. Even when using the headphones on the Enabler. I have no real noise issues to speak of.

It just occurred to me that you have no DG on your board. Not to say that's a bad thing at all. Just could've sworn you had at least one in there somewhere. DG isn't for everyone, I know.

Yeah, I was thinking of a B3K at some point but the sound samples just did not appeal to me THAT much. Then, they came out with the vintage and that seemed like something I should get but my dirt odyssey went another way and I told myself I would just go back to it eventually. Now, with the OFD, I don't know.

I understand that DG is quality stuff, but I still have not found a reason to get some of their stuff. The duality sounds like an interesting pedal, but I am not really looking for more fuzz right now. Who knows, maybe they will come out with something I want one day.

I finally got my OFD on wednesday and I have to say that it really delivers. It's the best bass distortion I've tried before. I was a little intimidated when I first got it but within about 20 minutes I had two presets already saved (tubedrive, and big pi) now it's all about tweaking them til they're just right.

I do have a question though. I know a couple of guys have said that the OFD can do the whole VMT thing very well. What settings are you using to get that tone?

Yeah I have a vmt and an SA OFD but can't seem to find the exact vmt sound. Id like to know the settings too.
