damn girl...that sound gewd!!!

Y'all really aren't making it easy for those of us who want to wait for the Future Impact update before taking the plunge. Owners of both, how would you compare making new patches from the C4 vs the FI? I'm a synth novice as far as understanding and am trying to learn more to be more deliberate in the tweaks I make...and these days I'm having issues connecting the FI to the editor over MIDI so curious from the patch building side fo the fence, is the C4 just as annoying to make patches w computer attaching or the phone connection makes it less painful?
We have worked very hard to make these tools easy to use. I would say the Desktop is easier and the Mobile is more handy?

If thats your concern, get it.

The editor is really straight forward and snappy.

I have both and will probably keep both. I have a lot of patches on the FI I don't really see recreating with the C4. Not that it can't, I just would rather find different sounds/uses for the C4 so I can "justify" keeping both. :D I think the C4's USB hookup to the computer is easier/smoother than the FI's midi to USB, no special cable/interface necessary. Haven't had enough time with it yet to say which editor easier/better. And I haven't tried the phone app at all yet, just the PC editor. Maybe some quality time with it this weekend...:bassist::bassist:

The space between the LS2 and the C4 is where the DMC Micro will live.
Signal chain is, Zoom>C4>Glowplug>LS2(Accountant in the loop)>JohnK Mutron boost>Spark>Silver Deluxe>HP/LPF>Diamond JR.
Of course this may all change, but for now....
I like to hit the Accountant hard and blend it in to taste with the LS2!
I'm hoping once I get the C4 dialed it will benefit from being warmed up by the Glowplug.
I had the HP/LPF at the beginning of my chain, but I figured having it at the end will help tame the synth.
Can not wait to dive into the C4, and get some cool tones. I play in a Funk band that is slightly Snarky Puppyish, so I'm looking for an OC2 w/out the dry, an envelope filter to rival my Manta, and some other classic synth tones. And lots of stuff that I haven't even thought of yet!
The Micro lands on Saturday, and the wife and kids are gone till Wednesday. Guess what I'll be doing?

Wanna come over and play each other's pedals/basses? I mean that in the most literal way possible, please don't read into that in ANY other way.

Srs. You are local and I'd love to try one out...I've got plenty of weirdo things for you to try out if you want.

If I can make the time I'd love to. Life has really been in the way the last few years. Playing with people is something I sorely miss.

@rsmith601 this is possibly a bizarre request, the C4 is on my list to buy but I probably won't get around to it until a bit later in the year. However, I actually *like* the idea that the C4 isn't included in Hub scenes. I am wondering if, as you revamp the Hub, you might make a small(?) additional option to specifically include/exclude pedals from scenes. The idea would be that I think the point of scenes makes much more sense for the original One Series pedals, and less so for pedals with their own larger number of on-board presets (Nemesis, Ventris, and now C4).

Let's say I have an Aftershock and specific distortion sound that I want to pair with various delays on the Nemesis. Depending on the level of complexity of one's MIDI setup, it makes more sense to me to dedicate just one Hub scene to that Aftershock sound, and then use the presets of the Nemesis to pair those delays. I already do this by not putting the Nemesis on the Hub, but using the 5-pin MIDI ports.

What I'm imagining are global options in the Hub (as a function of either port or connected pedal type) so that the Hub will still talk to the pedals (sending MIDI clock, CC, etc.) but "turn off" the inclusion of that port/pedal when scanning from the Hub to save a scene as well as the sending of data when recalling the scene.

Example use case: I have an Aftershock, C4, and Nemesis connected to my Hub. But I "turn off" the C4 and Nemesis from Hub scenes, and put all the pedals on different channels. Therefore, I can send a PC for my Aftershock preset (= Hub scene) and the appropriate CCs to the C4 and Nemesis for their presets. I now have 128 independent presets for all three pedals.

Hi! I just sold my SA Lunar to a friend and now he texted me saying that he did a factory reset and a firmware update and now the pedal has no sound when it's engaged. He's using the correct in/out and the original power supply. He's tried it with another power supply and it does the same.
When it's off the signal passes, when it's on there's no signal.
What may be the problem?
@rsmith601 some help, please?

EDIT: I used the pedal at home about a week ago and it worked fine.

EDIT2: Nevermind. It's solved!

What was the issue?
Curious minds want to know.
