I actually had to read through that a couple of times to see what you were getting at . Sunday Morning at work going crazy. Yes it makes sense Could also be a Bug in one system or another . I will have to see if it does it to the C4 . Mostly where I can preview all of the C4 presets without a problem the Spectrum presets don't seem to want to play at least with the Spectrum not sure about the C4 will check that out tonight. I don't expect Source Audio to be here 24/7 but they have all been a big help so far. Thanks guys

The Spectrum has a lot of top level controls related to envelope filter parameters so it could appeal to users that are interested in a full featured and flexible filter pedal (with a lot of extra features under the hood). The C4 basically requires the app or PC editor to do anything and a lot of potential users are turned off by that.

Also consider that a guitar synth pedal has a much narrower appeal compared to a dedicated envelope filter and so a filter pedal targeted and priced accordingly has much higher sales potential.

I can see the appeal, otoh I have never been a real time pedal tweaker especially on stage. I am much more into being able to design a sound (or many sounds!!) hit a button and let my heart and hands play da bass with those awesome soundz!

I’ve created an MF-101 patch for the C4, sadly I can’t save it as a Spectrum patch. If you open it in the offline editor and copy the settings in your Spectrum editor and upload it then Spectrum users will have access to it. Currently the is no way for C4 presets which only use parameters found in Spectrum to be loaded on to that pedal. It’s a shame as I plan on making a bunch of filter-only presets and it’s sad that Spectrum users won’t be able to benefit from these.

Have you uploaded this setting yet? I see three recent uploads of yours but not one that says MF-101. Thanks

I've also avoided buying a tremolo, and now have 3 pedals that do good trem, the C4, SuperEgo+, and Oceans 11. The SE+ is where I get my flanger, too. My Moog 12 Stage Phaser has been my favorite pedal since I got it 7 years ago. I love its interaction with the C4, and the Bass MuRF puts nice gritty filtering with additional LFO.

In answer to the query of what has been replaced, I took the EHX Bass Mono Synth off. At its price point, it was great, like the Behringer I tried 6 years ago (it lasted a week, before the input jack broke), and found 4-5 decent sounds, compared to one from the Behringer, but the volume dropped precipitously every time it was engaged. And I had the effect volume cranked far more than most EHX pedals, and have hot Bartolinis, so no big loss there, big time upgrade. I also finally got rid of my B9. And plans to switch the Dimension Reverb for an upgrade to the Ventris. All because of the C4. But Nathan was right to tell me to wait on the C4 rather than a Future Impact.

Man, the more I play the C4 the more I think it's my favorite pedal in years. I am seriously considering offloading my fuzz and xerograph because all the dirty, synthy sounds are already possible. My bugcrusher (which surprisingly sees a LOT of use from me while writing) sounds absolutely amazing through the C4's meatball preset. I started writing the chorus of a song that's been puzzling me for weeks because I was monkeying with chace90's 80s presets into my gated reverb.

Source Audio, i remain a total fanboy of yours... well done on this one!

I've had my Spectrum for a day now, and I am amazed at the versatility and organic sound of the tones available in it!

One request to Source Audio - please upload the factory presets for the Spectrum and C-4 to the Neuro App, or make them available somewhere else. They are fantastic, but I want to try other presets without losing them forever should I change my mind. It's one thing to audition presets in my music room, but I need to hear them in a live mix with the band before I can really determine whether a given preset is a keeper. The option to go back to what Source Audio gave me right out of the box would be helpful.
