I get that same issue with other programs as well. Premiere Pro is a big one. But as mentioned, ending that process and opening it again works. Much quicker and easier than an entire reset

If you just want to go up and down through C4 internal presets and you already have a MIDI controller you know and like, then the micro.ghost will allow you to send a PC message to the C4 and call up that preset. If you want to do more fancy things, you might want to consider the Hub.

If you go to the process monitor you can end the operation of Neuro, then restart. This happens sometimes depending on how I shut down the program. It is a known issue.

The weird thing is that it's not running to end the process. Like opening my task manager, it won't be there. So it's not like it's still running. Unless there's another way. I'll do some more research on it tonight. Thanks guys.

It shows under "Background Processes" rather than as a running program under "Apps".

Had the C4 on my board for a couple gigs this weekend. I don't have full MIDI functionality yet, but can turn it on/off from my DMC. I did use it twice (same song, same patch, two gigs) with the one patch I've uploaded to the cloud/community so far listed as "Doghaus" if you want to reference.

The first night I found that with my stage rig it had a bit too much bass (compared to my 'home test and build')...which is not a surprise if you're aware of what my stage rig is like. I decided to leave it as such for the gig, just because we had more on our hands to deal with for check.

My first task was to dial in a fairly level volume (so I'm roughly 'unity' with my non-effect tone). That was mostly accomplished. I also re-roughly tweaked my sensitivity a little bit and resaved. Pretty easy to do.

...the second night I decided that I'd try out the phone editor (iPhone Xs) and while I didn't have the included cable it was just fine using a standard 1/8th male/male with a 1/8" to 1/4" stereo adapter at one end and the 1/8" to lightning adapter to phone. This worked without any problems.

I pulled up my Doghaus patch from my library, I pulled the bass back a little bit, saved then burned to the pedal. I then also re-adjusted my level and sensitivity. and resaved on the pedal. All of this functionality worked as planned. I A/B'ed the sound against my actual (still on my board) JoshWah and at least one member in the band commented that he liked the C4 tone better. Unfortunately it was a 'hostile' room for sound (glass, cement no treatment + loud non-attentive audience) and by the time the band was mid-set I honestly couldn't hear how it sounded in the mix.

Oh well. 4 more chances to try it this week (Baltimore/DC/NYC & CT)...but won't have any time to fuss with my setup before then. I have a IEM rack to physically rebuild first.

I'm still loving my C4 and just published a couple presets.

What I'm struggling with right now is that I'm unable to get close enough to the settings I use on my IE Xerograph deluxe. I can get close for clean sounds, but it will then sound totally different with dirt in front. I feel like this should be possible and I'll keep trying. But if anyone has done so, please publish a preset!

I'd also like to share that my experience with disaster area designs customer service for the dmc.micro has been stellar.

Anyway, here's a clip of my favorite sound from the C4

Me three, I still think in XP which I knew bestest of all. Still have it running on one of my airgapped machines, runs like a Mo Fo champion.

If it says another version is running just do Ctrl/Alt/Del Open the task manager and close the App. Then just reopen the app and go. I have this happen all the time

This does not work as when I do this, it will open task manager but the Nuero will not be in there running.

Sometimes you have to scroll through all the way then on the way back it is there I have no Idea why. Also sometimes it is in the hidden tool bar at the bottom of the Windows Apps screen. It is pretty strange and I find with the newest version of the Neuro App if you actually close it out when you are done most of the time it works.

I haven't started to work on my XD sounds...I'll let you know what I end up with.

I bought the C4 hoping for moog-ish bass lines. There are some great moog-like presets in the community, but I have to play them up an octave on my bass. Me thinks most are made for guitar. At this point I'm not sure if this is replacing or even supplementing my Future impact.

Check to make sure the voices aren't set to -1 Oct. I've noticed several are, which makes playing in the lower registers difficult to impossible.

I still have patches on my FI that I have yet to recreate, so it's staying for now, but the more time I spend with the C4, the more I like it. Give it some time.

I've wondered about the octave down thing myself. On one hand, it tracks better. On the other, mixing in the bass dry sound is weird because it's an octave up.
