Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Probably a dumb question...
I'm tweaking a filter.
I have Voice 1 set to go to Distortion and Filter, drop down selecting Envelope 1. That's happening.
I have Voice 2 set to go to Distortion and Filter, drop down selecting Envelope 2. But the interface shows that both voices are going to Filter 1.
In writing this out I realize that Filter 1 and Envelope 1 are different, so I realize that nothing is broken :D But...
How do I get Voice 2 to go to Filter 2?

Processor pan is the control
You want. Move voice two all the way to the right.

Apologies if this has been covered, on top of the other sweet C4 presets I have made, I am in need of some Future Impact emulations. I, first and foremost, need preset number 6, it is a go-to sound for me. If anyone knows of a solid and reliable C4 preset that covers this, Please post it here!
Thank You very Much!
Pete

Just had my C4 arrive and I have a quick questions for everyone. When I plug everything into my SA Hub and then USB that to my CPU, the Neuro Desktop editor says I need to make sure to have my C4 updated to v1.14 and my hub to v.1.18. Only problem is, my C4 is v.1.13 and my hub is v.1.17 and when I press the update button at the top, it says that its all up to date. Is there some other way to find new updates for each of these? My Neuro editor isn't really working with the C4 and I suspect this update will fix it if I can find how to locate the update.

you have to go to the website and download the new software manually. There is no auto update in the software. The firmwares come pre packaged with the software.

I already tried downloading and reinstalling the latest version of the Neuro Desktop editor but I had already had that version installed (7.02). I only just downloaded the Neuro Desktop editor a few days ago. Is there some sort of other way to update the pedals? I can't seem to find anything on the website referring to a version 1.18 for the hub.

Ignore the update, c4 is not yet supported fully over the hub, the update for this is coming soon.

Actually...I was in need of that control advice too. It's not so obvious bit of control. Thanks...and appreciated!
I've been working on an OC2 clone combines my favorite OC-2 sound with a midi expression controlled envelope filter. I was struggling with getting my 3rd voice to work with the 2nd Filter...and the pan control is where I was going wrong.

Anyone gotta link direct to the download page for the C4 firmware. I’ve been looking around the website for the last 20 min and can’t find it. Idk why I have such an issue finding this page every time.

That was exactly what I needed. Power and internet are out here so I am just able to say thanks now. Thanks!

I think it would be interesting to load the C4 presets into Spectrum. I know the spectrum have less resources, but it could load everything in filters, distortions, envelopes and LFO's. This way should be more presets available to the Spectrum community. I know some stuff will be unusable because of the lack of the sine and square waves and sequencer and etc, but it will be better than make a copy by hand of the C4 presets.
BTW, would be cool to have at least a sine wave as input on the Spectrum, since its price is so near the price of the C4. I bought it and I regret. I should have bought C4 instead, but at the time of buy I did not know the Spectrum was fully inside the C4...

I really wish more of the video demos of the C4 used what the majority of bass players would consider usable sounds. (I realize it's for guitar also, but leave that aside for a moment.) Most of the review videos have been guys (it's always guys) making wacky, far-out sounds that nobody would ever want their bass player to make in their band. Mercifully, one or two actually start with answering the question "can you make the synth bass sounds that you might need to cover popular music using synth bass" before devolving into chaos. I'd love to see a demo that went through each of the six factory presets before doing anything else.

That’s essentially what my demo will be. 2-3 minutes of factory presets with a drum track. Then untold amount of time going through the editor and community presets.
