Thinking of adding auto-backup of all the presets on a pedal any time one connects to the desktop editor. It could be turned off, and it would only take about 1 second or so.

Would all previous backup files continue to be accessible after a new one is created? (I know apple iPhone backups tend to constantly replace the previous one.) The reason I ask is that there is a scenario in which a user might have accidentally overwritten something on the pedal itself and would want to restore from a backup. If the pedal were to automatically backup and replace the file upon connection then the backup would now consist of the accidentally overwritten files and recovery would be impossible. In such a scenario one would either need previous backups to be available or have the ability to switch off the auto backup function on the pedal itself (or via the neuro app) before connecting to the editor.

Yes. That's the plan.

You know what sounds weird and fun at the same time and kind of jacks your head up. Putting the Ventris through two amps at once. I did that yesterday but in a different way than I normally would. I single split almost near the end of my chain with the Ventris into the Drive Makers FX Loop then out from the stereo jack to another amp. When coupled with chorus going into the other amp, it's crazy and sounds so odd but good. Anyone do stuff like this?

Boogie On Reggae Woman is where I've been headed.
I figured that is what it would be.

I might have a crack when I’m home after the weekend.

Start with a sawtooth and then either a sawtooth and/or sine wave an octave below. At least that’s how I hear it (from memory).

So wondering here,...can't find the SA expression pedal in stock anywhere. Also the newer model seemed to have come and gone. I'm probably just out of the loop on this, but any of those in the know that can shed some light on when they'll be back in stock? Thanks!
The SA Dual Expression pedal should be back in stock within about 2 weeks. COVID caused a 3 month delay in our assembly process and we ran out about 4 weeks ago.

Question guys I've purchased a c4 and its great. Looking at the other effects included If I want distortion or phasing its there so the aftershock or lunar isn't needed. I'm i correct?
Yes and no. In a basic sense, yes there’s distortion and phasing options in the C4, but they are fairly limited. If you’re happy with what’s there, perfect! But the Aftershock (or LA Lady or Kingmaker, they share settings in Neuro) and Lunar (or Mercury or Gemini, same shared settings) offer SO many more options. So up to you on how much flexibility you’re looking for, and what cost you’re willing to pay for it. I went with the Aftershock, C4, Mercury, EQ2 and Hub run by a MidiMongoose and couldn’t be happier!

My advice would be to play around with the phasers and distortion and see if they satisfy your needs. For most uses the 4-and 6-stage phasers cover plenty of sounds. If you want 8- and 12-stage phasers then you’ll need a Lunar/Gemini/Mercury. I don’t use loads of distortion so the ones in the C4 are OK for me at the moment. I might find use for an Aftershock again at some point; I had one a couple of years ago but wasn’t using it much but that was before I got into the MIDI possibilities.

Got it, thank you for answering my question
