In fact, if there were a way to step through the setlists in the Soleman using the right most 2 switches in up down mode live, and then step through each set list with the left 2 buttons, this would be perfect for how I’d like to use it live.

the routing you mentioned works if you set up the C4 as “Dual Input”, and then the pedal in the loop (ie- patched from Output 1 to Input 2) is still in the signal path when you bypass the C4. Then you can create a voice patch with Processor 1 and send it directly to Output 1 (and to the Aftershock), run back in Output 2 where you can send it to a filter on Processor 2. You can also create “Drive” patches on the C4 where you can just use EQ, voice blending, filter, etcetera to adjust your drive tone. Pretty cool!
I just tried to update my C4 (the update icon was highlighted in yellow) but I have twice received the message that an error occurred during the update and that I should try again.
And it has wiped the pedal clean of all of my patches, including the six factory settings. All of them. Gone.
Anyone have any idea what might be going on?
EDIT: It downloads all the blocks (33) but seems to fail during the verifying stage...

Not sure, but I once had my pedal crash and it looks like all the internal memory had been wiped with hours of work gone but when I rebooted everything it was fine. Perhaps your download of the relevant editor files was corrupted. I’d re-download and re-installed the editor after disconnecting and rebooting the pedal.
Ok, I have a Neuro hub, C4, Aftershock, EQ2 and Soleman on the way. May want to include a couple more pedals over time. Also a wireless receiver and I may put my tuner on the board depending how I like the built in tuner of the EQ2.

Well, the C4 presets reappeared after a reboot, but something is very wrong. I can change presets fine in the editor, but the settings on the editor don't change to match - it just sticks on the settings of the first preset I choose. I can't update the pedal - every time I try, it wipes the thing. I tried to make a backup - it says there's no data to backup. I saved my patches to the cloud and tried a factory reset - it can't complete the factory reset. I've only had the thing for a month.
Yup - uninstalled the app and downloaded it again from the SA site. Same issue. Makes me think there's something wrong with the pedal. But I've sent a message via SA's contact form on their site, so hopefully they can help. I love the pedal and actually just ordered a Collider as well. No idea why this has happened out of nowhere - super weird.

Have you tried the non software reset? holding down the footswitch while plugging in the power supply? That’s if you have all your presets backed up in some way.
Isn't this a classic Mac feature ?
It's something about doing a uninstall using a special program, it don't get fully uninstalled otherwise.
Just got back to creating presets today. I have all the source audio stuff on Midi 1 and a Future Impact on Midi 3.
Soleman and Neural Hub. C4, Mercury, EQ2.
Soleman scenes start at 000. Hub scenes start at 001.
My basic approach has been to set the scene to fire off a macro. Soleman scene 000 fires Macro 0 which sends PC 1 on Midi 1 for the first Hub scene, Soleman scene 001 fires a macro which sends a PC 2 to engage the second scene store in the hub.
So, there is an offset of 1 between my Soleman scene and hub scene.
Am I approaching this correctly ? Is there a more efficient/better way to do this ?

Yes, I was able to do a non-software rest. Issues persisted, though - the desktop app kept hanging, or suggesting a firmware update (I'm updated to 1.18 though), or doing the thing where the editor controls don't match the selected patch. I did more re-installs, re-downloads, resets etc. It would be OK for a few minutes and then start glitching again.
But then it occurred to me that I still had the phone-cable thing plugged into Input 2 (after using the phone app at the studio the night before). I wondered if this might be confusing the pedal/editor. Maybe the pedal was picking up stray signals from the tip of the phone cable or something? I removed it and rebooted... and so far it seems fine. Played for about 30 mins, bouncing between patches with no lag or weirdness. I have no idea if that was the cause. I'll have another, longer play later on today and let you know if the problems persist. Thanks in the meantime

I'm using a Ciocks dc-10. They have a new 7 outlet version (dc7) witch includes a usb power out port as well...
My Radial bassbone requires 15 which is oddball... the ciocks handles it.

I use an Eventide PowerMax, which is mostly identical to the Cioks DC7 and super solid, powerful, compact, and lightweight. The original PowerMax and DC7 also offer switchable 9/12/18V on every output. The DC7 and the newer PowerMax 2 have an expansion output in case you ever need to expand and add more power. They aren’t the cheapest supplies, but definitely some of the best for modern high-draw digital pedals!
The eventide v2 seems like the right supply for my current (excuse the pun) needs. It seems to offer the most high current outputs that these digital effects seem to draw. Is love a 10 port version.
I also like how the jacks are lates out on the eventide better, and it’s cheaper (though with 3 fewer power ports).
How does the expansion work?
ETA - I misread the specs on the DC 10. This may be exactly what I need as I currently need 8 power ports, and there are more high current ports than I thought on the DC 10.
The PowerMax/DC7 are modern switch-mode power supplies vs the old standard transformer design of the DC10 (and the AC10, which I also own), so you get a lot more juice in a significantly smaller/lighter/quieter package. There is also the Cioks 8 (not the DC-8), which is a modern switch-mode supply with 8 outputs and all the same configurable stuff as the DC-7- just a bit larger (I think it wouldn’t quite fit my pedalboard). The Cioks 8 was actually designed to be an extension off of a DC7, but pretty sure you could run it on its own as well with the right adaptor (don’t quote me on that!).
The DC7, the Cioks 8 and the newer V2 PowerMax have an additional 24V port that can power either an entire other DC7/PM or one of their smaller expansion boards (like the PowerMini). The main difference between the Cioks and Eventide-branded one is that the PowerMax V2 is only 9V on the first three ports, while the DC7 has the switchable voltage on all seven outputs. The V1 PowerMax was basically identical to the DC7, except that it doesn’t have an expansion port (however you can actually power the smaller expansion boxes off of one of the 9V outputs if you are only looking for additional isolated outputs and not additional power/current).
I use a V1 PowerMax with a large pedalboard right now, and just put a number of pedals on splitter daisy-chains (I have one 3-output chain and 3 dual-output, and leave 3 pedals on their own outputs). I know which pedals I have that don’t like to be chained, so this works well for me powering 10-12 pedals/devices without noise or other issues. If you only have 8 pedals, I would recommend one of these newer ones and just putting two of the pedals on an included splitter cable (if you notice noise issues, you can just experiment with which pedals don’t mind sharing power- most likely multiple Source Audio pedals will work fine daisy-chained for example).
I still have a Cioks AC10, and while it’s a great supply it’s also incredibly heavy and bulky and offers less overall output by far (the DC-10 is basically the same size/weight as my AC-10 with only a few more DC outputs). Depending on your board, mounting one of those older CIoks supplies underneath could require modification (as my Pedaltrain JR did), while the newer ones fit without issue.

When selecting power supplies the process I use is in order of importance is:
1. Does it have the voltage and current outputs the pedalboard requires?
2. Are the outputs well isolated from each other?
3. How good is the output voltage regulation especially under full load?
4. Is there over current protection on the outputs. This will get used when you accidentally ground a Boss connector +outer ring to a grounded case pedal or plug it into a non Boss style pedal without using the crossover adapter.
5. Check for good power supply input noise rejection and surge protection if you don't use a power conditioner in your system.
