I'm still in 2 minds about the blue knobs on the Lunar vs Black ones. However, I had to wait for the stock to come back in from amazon. I'm guessing it's not a big seller / stock item. I did see that the copper ones for the Spectrum (SO cool looking) are available again, but from a different Amazon vendor.

Put black ones on the lunar. Keep the blue for the Ultrawave (or send them to me).

Ah...only the larger 25mm ones available at the moment. I'm sure the 20mm versions will be back in stock soon enough

The blue would looks rather fetching on the Ultrawave!
I'm wondering if the knob colour denotes hardware changes on the One Series Mini's? All the earlier gen units have black knobs and every thing since the True Spring have had white knobs.

Is there a better, maybe more detailed and explanatory list of overdrive and distortion engines for the Aftershock/L.A. Lady/Kingmaker than the one in the Neuro Editor tutorial blog? For instance, explaining the difference between Smooth Tube and Smooth Tube II or any and all the engines that have a sequel. The blog's explanation of the "Drive Pre/Post Blend" parameter is, to me, really vague. The Smoked Glass C4L and D5M engines are listed as both being a Darkglass B7K on the tutorial blog and I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. I don't own a B7K, so I could be wrong! I do wish there was a similar written tutorial for the Lunar/Gemini/Mercury and the C4. If any of this stuff exists, please point me in the right direction!

Smoked Glass C4L and D5M are indeed based on the B3K (just think about the name and the letters/numbers; it's a lot like how "HAL" in 2001: A Space Odyssey is just one letter off from "IBM"), not necessarily the B7K, although the B7K is just the B3K + EQ. YMMV how well they do the job.

Okay,..just ordered the SA hub for my board. I'm just running an HX stomp and the SA C4 along with an expression pedal. I have both the Dunlop mini and the SA dual expression. I'd prefer to keep the smaller footprint of the Dunlop on the board to control both the HXS and the C4, but not sure if thats possible. You can tell I'm fairly midi ignorant huh? Will I need to use the SA dual to control both via midi or is the Dunlop a possibility? I'll be using my phone or an ipad with midipro II for the midi controller. Thanks in advance.

I'd prefer to keep the smaller footprint of the Dunlop on the board to control both the HXS and the C4, but not sure if thats possible.

I also use the Dunlop Mini and was thinking this exact thought not a couple weeks ago... Unfortunately, the Hub is set up to use a TRS cable and the Stomp uses just TS, so they're incompatible on a top level. I thought about diving deeper and making some kind of custom Y splitter (TRS > TRS and TS), but haven't scrounged up the motivation to even look to look for parts yet.

Thinking about it...that would make a good candidate for EQ curve /patch for the EQ2, that simulates the B7K's baked in EQ. Then We can use the EQ on any dirt on the Aftershock. I've made a similar EQ curve for the Sansamp BBDI 2 knob, using an expression pedal to dial in the amount of effect.

I wanted to post another message about how great SA customer service is.

I was having an issue with a midi cc (I may be the only person in the world who wants midi control over the lfo2 multiplier) and within a few days they sent me a firmware fix. Amazing!

EQ2-Related Feature Request:

I posted this in a far-flung corner of TB that might not get the same amount of traction as this thread, so I'll post the essence of it here: Hey Source Audio, would you consider adding to the EQ2's already fabulous feature set, the ability to toggle on a "Constant-Q" setting?

Because the EQ2 is marketed as, largely functions as and resembles a "graphic" EQ (even though it is much more), I usually want to use it like one, but I was having the experience that the more I was boosting and cutting, the sharper the Q-factor became.

It looks like the Q-factor you set in the pedal applies only to the +/- 6dB setting, but widens or narrows rapidly depending on how much gain you're applying. Having a continuously variable Q (like an API) is a great feature but the EQ2 would behave more like a real graphic—and be even more useful and versatile—with the option to make the Q-factor constant. Please consider it. I promise to use the power wisely
