Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Nevermind, forgot to set up the pedal on the computer desktop editor first.

Just saw @rsmith601 post. Makes sense. And just peeking at the editor, will want to dive into that with the full screen in front of me. But just found a great sound messing around with the Pulsar preset, gonna get back to exploring first. ;) And I've now learned that these first 2 vids were with the Facets and Original Multidrive presets tweaked.

Niko's blog post on how to use the Ultrawave editor has been posted.
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Looking through Niko's walkthrough, and I'm really looking forward to checking out the Ultrawave. The On/Off State button and compressor visualizer are a couple of really nice quality of life touches. The morph functions seem like they could be quite interesting, I'm excited to check out all the different distortions. And... all four knobs can be assigned! VERY excited about comboing the Ultrawave with the C4!! :bassist:

The OCD in me is wondering: Would the Ultrawave be capable of having an EQ setting in the distortion controls where the user could set the 10-band frequencies? Purely a curiosity question. (or maybe there's a click and drag that isn't working for me? I couldn't change the frequencies in the Master Controls like Niko mentioned when I first loaded the editor, but it's working fine now!)

I did notice one little oddity as well... the Reset to Defaults button did this (along with turning comp and distorion controls off), which doesn't really look like "default"...? Probably not something that would have any real effect, just something I noticed! :)

My Instagram post has a couple short video clips, didn't realize they wouldn't show up in the link... But they used a tweaked Facets factory preset and a tweaked Basic Multidrive, both using the Collider (and phone mic). I created my first preset on the desktop in the hours that followed. Found it looking for a really harmonically rich aggressive sound for the Grateful Dead's The Other One, and thought about Dick Latvala's experience of tripping in the bathroom of the Fillmore West and being unable to escape the incredibly loud power chords of Phil Lesh ripping through his lysergic nightmare, hence the name Scary Trip OD. I found it worked nicely for something I was playing last week with the Aftershock, so the shorter clip is that riff with just Ibanez SR505 straight into the Ultrawave, the longer is The Other One with the Ultrawave and a Hall and then a Shimmer reverb on the Collider, and they went straight into my PreSonus Studio 18.

I looked for release notes and I'm guessing they are lagging as you guys are moving at light speed with the UltraWave. Completely understandable. Do you know what was done to support the EQ2 ?
There is a rear file available after downloading and installing that states what the version addresses.

ah, I'll go looking as I installed this afternoon. Unfortunately it seem like my midi issues with the Eq2 persist. I've migrated to CC 94. sending 0 for input 1 and 127 for Input 2. When I hit the Soleman switch for Input 2, the LED goes Red but the preset LED stays on Preset 1.

I'm doing this using 2 Soleman Macros. Each of them sends CC's on midi 1 that disengage my C4 and Future Impact, the the input select on midi 2. The C4 and Future Impact receive the messages and behave as expected... Baffling ...
