Well, it appears not to be stereo, whatever it is. If it's a pre-amp, my wallet is happy.
Edit: nevermind, upside down pedal means that is reversed, so mono in, stereo out distinctly possible/probable. Still, with active bass and EQ2, if it's a pre-amp, I'm still good, thankfully. Now, when the compressor pedal comes out, they will have my money immediately.

This looks interesting, though maybe not for me...I guess maybe I'm missing the boat on the Make Everything Sound Better!..... I mean, I already really like the sound of my existing basses/preamp/heads, so I don't want to alter that, and I don't really need a $200 boost pedal so...
But, for some people who are really into tone chasing, I could see this as a pretty unique tool to that end, especially when combined with some other SA stuff like the EQ2 for example.
But, I'm stoked to start seeing some vids/reviews with bass, I may totally change my tune....I mean it is a new shiny pedal.
Edit: Surprised to see no midi or USB on this...At least I don't see the ports in the pics I've come across.

Would have been nice to see a bass demo as the webpage says it should work well for it. Probably something that will come later.
Yeah, I could potentially use a gain stage like this if I could vary the levels/settings on a per-patch basis via MIDI. Doesn't seem to be the ZIO's intended purpose, though. Bummer.

Yeah, calling up different gain stages or preamp types on a per patch basis would be cool, then have the option to EQ the patch even further with the EQ2....that would be a cool combo.

I think there's a lot more in the Source Audio R&D treasure chest to be leaked or announced. 2022 is looking like a fine year for Source Audio releases. The Reflex 2.0 is a pedal of particular interest to me. Plus what ever Mega Modulator they have in their coffers.
