That is all that is available through the Hub for the Ultrawave, as the full controls for it are too complex for the Hub. You need to connected directly to the Ultrawave to set up presets, and then use the Neuro Hub UI that you see there to include it in a scene.

I use my exp pedal via midi. I don’t think there’s another way once the control input is taken for midi.
If I had the money at the moment, I’d check out a Morningstar. But the dmc does an awful lot of what I need, so I haven’t.
You can use a Name mode for presets
The editor works on pro, maybe on the older micro.
I can’t watch the video at the moment, but I remember watching several similar to it that were still helpful.

The video shows the dmc micro working without adapter nor the hub. Thats why it appeals.

Can anyone please verify that?

As far as I know, you can't really "daisy chain" the Source Audio pedals without the new adapter. But with that adapter (or the Hub), you can definitely control more than one pedal.

If you go to the dmc support page, you can look at the difference in the software releases. I think that the LED4 version (no longer produced) caps out at 1.05 and the PRO is on the current sw 2.02a. So at the very least, there's a whole version number's worth of difference.
Also there's a much nicer screen on the newer one.

You should be able to control 2 SA pedals with the DMC without a hub. One is connected by USB and the other is by using the cable that comes with the pedal out from the TRS on the micro and in to the TRRS on the SA pedal. The pedal connected by the TRS-TRRS can only access the 6 onboard presets. Disaster Area used some Voodoo magic to accomplish this and I think it is what inspired SA to create the new midi dongle.

My understanding is that the TRS MIDI in the DMC gives full access to MIDI messaging, not just access to 6 presets.

FYI- you cannot daisy-chain multiple SA pedals with the new MIDI dongle, it only allows control of one at a time. The MIDI Thru connection doesn’t offer translation for a second SA pedal. Only the Neuro Hub will allow connection of multiple SA pedals like this. I believe it is correct that the DMC Micro Pro will only be able to interface independently with one SA pedal using either USB Host or the 1/4” TRS out because of the channel limitation described, but might be a better question to email DMC about to be sure

It can access 128, 6 is only for the older pedals that use the “SOne” driver on the dmc. For c4 and newer pedals, use the c4 driver to access 128 presets over the multi jack.

depends on the pedal, I’d reach out to disaster area, but the usb connection definitely needs to be channel 1, the multi jack connection can work with other channels but it depends on the pedal, can’t remember which ones Matthew found to be temperamental.

I found the aftershock to be temperamental when I tried this last. That was beginning of '22, though. Haven't bothered to try since I got the Hub.
