Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

I worked off and on all day yesterday trying to program patches with my SA pedals and Soleman. I cannot choose "names from hub" in the edit section of the Soleman, so I can have patches to assign to the panels. I can't even bring up factory reset with the edit button. The Soleman is becoming more of a hassle than I bargained for. I did read through most of the user manual yesterday as well. Also have dual midi cables and midi settings correct between hub and Soleman.

It can be hard to know what combination of things will cause ground loops and other noise issues. If you are using a setup and not having any issues, then you may be fine. If you are starting from scratch, then it is best to reduce the chance that you might have issues and take precautions.
When we design circuit boards, we take all kinds of precautions to eliminate the chance of noise. Same thing here.

Well I'm thoroughly disgusted and burned out trying to get panel mode to work properly. I went through all presets in the Neuro hub to make sure only specific pedals are on or off. When in Soleman editor random pedals come on when not specified so on and so on. Going back to the trusty old Midi Moose with the SA volume pedal. My head hurts!!

No macros. Just trying to set up simple panel scenes to trigger individual effects. Like OD, CHORUS, COMP ect. I can scroll through fine in scene mode and all work well, when trying to apply in panel mode it gets glitchy. I'm assigning proper on and off numbers and set to PC. I'm doing more reading trying to find the problem. I was also unaware that the hub didn't support the Ultrawave, so had to sort out how to implement that with USB cable direct.

Note that the Hub can save Ultrawave presets. @gibs or others can help with the details.

Thanks Roger. Finally dove deeper into the one series pedals. I think I have things ironed out for the time being. Editing with USB direct to the Ultrawave and saving with the hub. The midi patch part threw me for a loop. I forgot one starts with zero and the editor starts at one. Still some small glitches to iron out, but progress is being made!!!

Excellent news! Sorry about the Ultrawave. All of the morphing stuff just completely blew up the number of parameters, and the Hub could not store all of it. Hopefully you are going to use the morphing!! :)

So I have a bit of a puzzle that I'm trying to solve. I wanted to create a preset that uses both my C4 and Gemini, but the latency in the C4 loading the preset from the is not acceptable in a live setting for me. All of my Source Audio pedals are connected to the Neuro Hub. I have 2 questions:

  1. If I create a preset on the Neuro Hub for the Gemini and engage that preset while at the same time using MIDI CC to engage the C4, will that work? My assumption is no and the program change for the Neuro Hub will turn off the C4.
  2. Is there a way to access the 6 presets on the Gemini itself through MIDI?

Not sure I’m following, you’re saying the neuro hub doesn’t load the preset on the c4 fast enough? What’s the scenario here?
