It's an instrument cable emulator. Mogami, vintage coiled, high-end directional and more are available as models. But, this being SA, you can obviously create your own custom cable presets with your choice of conductor material, connector plating, and length in increments of an inch.

I cant wait to A/B the straight vs rt angle plug models. From what I heard, "leftover duct tape residue" and "bent plug" really nailed the og versions.
If they can emulate the amazing Nutrik silent jack I think will be the game changer
That would be nice. I suspect the price of developing a new hardware platform (ie would likely need to be larger w/ more footswitches than anything they currently make in order to be competitive with the existing looper market) would make the initial price similar to what’s already available from other companies. Would love to one day see a Boomerang-competitive looper that also had loop memory!
That's a good point. One should be able to choose between the warm, vintage sound of the English system or, for Darkglass/Dingwall type situations, the more modern and clinical sound of metric lengths.
I would buy that AND read every word of the manual, plus on line demos but still get confused. Then, having worked it out, feel passive aggression to other band members, for not appreciating the subtle tonal variations I'm bringing to the mix.
Alright, I'm having another go round programming the Soleman. I have most everything working but I can't for the life of me to get the Soleman to bypass/engage the Aftershock and Mercury in panel mode. I've used multiple channels, different mappings... they work fine on my C4 and UW. Soleman midi out to hub, hub midi out to Soleman in, Atlas, C4, Aftershock, UW and Mercury all hooked into hub and USB to PC. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I can get the CC message to disengage the pedal if it is engaged, but I cannot get it to turn them back on.

I'm trying to the same with my soleman here: Source Audio (changing presets for each pedal)?
Just trying to select each pedal, access presets and save scenes, it shouldn't be this hard. As many here have noted the soleman is pretty old. With that being said I wish they would take it off the market...
I've been following your thread, too. I have scene mode setup for presets, but I want to switch to panel mode for toggling pedals on and off. Not quite the same thing you're looking for, but I did use the same method suggested for scrolling, but used it for a bypass/engage cc for all three pedals, but it's only working on the C4 and UW. I just want to be able to toggle the AS and Mercury on and off.

Need to send a value of 64 or greater to engage the pedal, and value of 63 or less to bypass the pedal.
I tried that, too. Does it have to be on two different switches? One to engage and one to bypass?
I do this in panel mode for my aftershock and have no issues. I don't have it in front of me, but for now just make sure the respective switch is in latching mode and for ON the value is anything at or above 64 and for OFF it's 63 or lower. All on one switch yes. I can check later too and send a screen shot.
Here's what I have right now. As I said earlier, the UW and C4 are responding to the bypass toggle on cc9, but I can't get the AS or Mercury to turn on. If I physically engage them, I can switch them off with the Soleman, but not back on, using multiple combination so values in the ranges mentioned above.
In your Aftershock slot go to the row OFF DATA 0 and use value 63. That should do it?
