i built a preset switcher for my c4 with a Adafruit trinket m0
Anyone had any luck with m-vave ms1 and chocolate switcher?

I have two pairs, one for my the other for my c4. They work but you have to power them on in steps otherwise you get the dongles connecting to each other and the chocolates doing the same. I'll eventually upgrade. One set by itself will be great though.

Yup, they make some neat stuff! I have my own versions of most of their devices + some other random circuits for mods. I'm guessing these are actually SPDT toggles, it'd be fun to make them both Midi + external jacks...I have a PCB around here that'll do that somewhere

For me, I don’t really need this pedal to be midi aware. This unit will be off board and close to the multicore on stage. The last thing I’ll need is power, signal in, 3 pin out AND a midi feed back to my board. That’s just over complicating things. However, your mileage may vary!

The new Source Audio Bass Zio really is a beautiful device. I think this is the first multi knob pedal that I don't want to upgrade the knobs on. I seriously approve of your Knob choice! Very chic out of the box.

So in the name of science I bought a footswitch for my C4/Ultrawave from Saturnworks. Got them to make it 'latching' instead of 'momentary' like the SA Tap Tempo switch. Risking no returns I went for it and low and behold it works!

This is great news for anyone who doesn't use MIDI and wants more out of their One Series units

Essentially it turns a single preset into 2 useable presets. So you could have a clean sound on Ultrawave and then kick the Saturnworks switch on for distortion. Or like I do for the C4 and make each patch I use go wierd/crazy/completely different when I switch on the Saturnworks.
2 patches in 1 for any One Series pedal. No MIDI.

You can switch on the Saturnworks on/off when the One Series pedal isn't on and it will change the preset too.

So does the switch become 'listed' as an option in Neuro desktop, to be assignable to any chosen parameter? With the exp pedal menu?

You can achieve a similar thing with an expression pedal but also have continuous variations between the two endpoints.

Yes i have the expression pedal and have done this. No where near as good as using the stomp switch imo. Small footprint in terms of pedalboard estate as well.

Control Input X - Expression is what i have set it too. You can assign it to any of the pedals parameter's change 3 of them, which is enough to completely change up the patch.

I'm getting seduced by the demos and shiny green metal, plus it's my birthday this week....

Just tried another pedal - JPTR Jive Saturator and disappointed. Will be returned or resold.

I am v satisfied with tones on my Aguilar TH500 with Bergantino 112 speakers. Dont use the drive though. Fine with xlr out of amp.
The UW gives amazing detail for fine EQ adjustment, subtle grit/OD plus useful HP/LP filter.
Prefer headphone practise through my DAW.

The Zio is 'clean', so what else would I hope for if I ordered one, apart from a new sexy green pedal with nice knobs, to play with on my birthday??

Never tried the Tonehammer so don't know if that will do the same. I have the Jive and use it as an always on pedal though it is very different beast to the ZIO.

Currently playing a passive Gibson NR T Bird into my board, then out the ZIO into my Rumble 500 FX Return for amp sound. My board is set up for ampless really into an RNDI

I play funk, rock original stuff but in a couple of covers bands where one is like 'pop through the ages' and the other is a funk/soul group.
