In down at daytona beach for welcome to rockville. Sitting on the beach waiting for the launch. 3rd launch of the year ive been fortunate enough to witness. Sky kind of cleared up so hoping for a good view.
We're standing by in our driveway, 140 miles from launch site. Slightly hazy, but should see it fine.
Yep, the Northrop T-38 was/is an awesome trainer. One of the few trainers that is capable of supersonic speeds.
Saw it early in the launch quite clear. Then disappeared in some higher haze, didn't get to see first stage separation. Glad everything is going good.
Had a pretty decent view last night of the launch. rocket disappeared into some low clouds, but came back out. it would disappear and reappear. Saw the first stage go. Pretty amazing. Godspeed.
They are going to attempt a static fire on SS20 this morning.

All 29 Raptor engines installed on Spacex booster 4 (BN4). Still not sure when they'll do a full static fire test.
Read somewhere the first actual flight (suborbital test flight) of the full mated stack (booster BN4 and ship SN20) won't happen until 2022. FAA is still reviewing environmental impacts/concerns and won't be done 'til the end of this year. Poop...
