My vote is the LE 6, while you may in the future be able to get a Forte 6, it won;t be as unique and awesome as the LE 6, and you may have those "oh man I wish I hadn;t missed my chance" feelings. :D

I was saving up for either a custom Birdsong or custom NS-2, but when the LE came around I jumped on the unique chance.
As always this is just my opinion...

Im thinking similarly to you. :)

Thank you sir! I can't even fathom the USA's being so much better than the Euro's....the Euro I played was easily the nicest bass I've laid my hands on an actually played....right up there with the first Smith I ever played...and like I stated before, the Spector just sits right.....

If you can get a US for $3k or under good but over might as well get a Euro and a used car.

Lololol!!! Thank you Sam! We get delivery between 4-6pm:bawl: :rollno: If I'd known before today, i pass right by the UPS facility on our way into Petoskey where the hospital is at. Lol Oh well...i don't have to tell you how I'm feeling right now! Maybe I can go and coach the Endeoscopy Dr. to speed him up?! WWLGD? Lol After all...it's not my bottom he's scoping. Lol :hiding: :O Oh, I'm bad. :ninja:

What?! Only 48 hours?!?! Short changing me aren't you?!

My 810 delivers tomorrow!!! I'm going to faint from all the excitement!!! I better get some smelling sauce when we stop at the pharmacy today! Lol

I'm 30 miles from home...with the UPS driver in between us...driving around on his daily route...totally unaware to the master plan that's being developed by LimaGuy & Ice! Bohahaha!

Mike your getting me excited...Forte than a 810????...Christmas all over again!

Namm is only for the big shots not the average Joe Shmoes like us....We only spend the money...haha...:bassist::bassist:

and business owners..... I know quite a few, I just missed it this year ;)

its all about who you know... maybe next year. Maybe someday i can be a little big shot.... big dreams... for now I'll keep looking for used deals and super sales.. lol:bassist:

You are right, the bottom line, the Joe Shmoes like us are the most important part of this, since we spend the money in the end and keep everyone one happy and in business.

But
NAMM (National Association of Music Merchandisers) is technically a show for music retailers. (It’s limited to retail industry people and the Endorsed Artist of the Music companies) Spector, Ampeg, GK, EMG, DR, Dunlop etc… showcase their new product lines to these retailers so they will pick up their new product lines and or continue to sell their product lines.

The endorsed artists “Big Shots” are really there to help Schmooze the retailers.

This is the musical instrument version of CES (Consumer Electronics Show), which is going on this week in Vegas. When I worked for JVC I would go to the CES show and the main purpose was to announce the new products to the dealers.

And here is a crazy thing about the electronics industry. The dealers would be given all the new product literature information. While “I” who worked for the company Supervising the Customer Service Dept. couldn’t get the same info from my own company.

Sorry for not posting in a while but I was in gatlinburg for a church dealie. However I got to play my Gk 1001rb-II, Neo410 rig and I love it! I'm getting a new cable because the original gave me grief but that half stack was money well spent IMHO. Now to start saving up for a Spector or two, 2012 will be a year for expanding my Spector family :bassist:

WoooooHoooooo!!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::D
I setup the TriPod with camcorder in the front picture window...and I hear a knock at the back door...the UPS guy backdoored me! Lol :p
He parked the truck on the main road 125 yds behind our house! And by the time I get to the backdoor he's walking back to the truck. Lol
I did get a video from bringing the box in the door to picking up my Forte 4. So it'll be a part of "My SPECTOR story".

Is it that much better than the Euro's? I can tell you that from the first time that I picked the Forte 4 from it's case, I was blown away with the way it feels!!! It is perfectly balanced! It takes no effort picking it up and to hold it! Feels light as a feather because of the perfect balance! I literally just sat it on my lap, ran my hands all over and examined it for over an hour. Unbelievable craftsmanship!!! I can feel with my hand the smoothness of the sanding of the master craftsman, where and how he sanded and shaped the body! Incredible! I love how the neckthru joins the wings that there's no hump like my Euros had. And how the fretboard smoothly blends into the neckthru seamlessly. Well enough talk...time to play!!! :bassist: Checkout the date on headstock...1 month ago today.
