I prefer the Forte clips by a long shot. The Forte bass has a very clear, articulate, full range, yet deep, tone. All that without sounding sterile at all. Those basses are great in so many ways.

+100%!!! I've owned both and IMHO the Forte is all of that and smoother...and just a lot better made bass. I tell ya, just holding it makes a world of a difference in the way it feels...so very comfortable.

I did change the cheap stock battery out for a good one at lunch, and was able to creep up to the 30-40% range and still have good articulation. That's good: now I'm at the lower range of respectful tone pump use, lol!
I still find it odd that my old nontrim TP Euro 4 has good just as good clarity to me.

many have mentioned tax refunds and the end of the month, I sure hope everyone doesn't chicken out... 
Well to be blunt, the whole thing has been poorly advertised. Keeping the details buried in the club thread is certainly doing nothing for commitments.

You can use the same strap or just remove and clip onto other strap... Or, what I did for many years was to buy a second transmitter. I did this back when I was playing 5-6 nights a week and boiling my strings a lot and because of that they broke often. To help I had two identical Ibanez Roadstars with their own transmitters. When a string breaks... just grab the other bass and keep playing.

I've found wiping the strings with denatured alcohol cleans them up and brightens the tone without weakening them like boiling does.

Yeah... My boiling days are behind me now. My DR High Beams also last quite a while. Plus I've been testing out a product called Link Removed Still making up my mind on it though. I did notice that the active ingredient in them is the same active ingredient in my electrical contact cleaner so I could conceivably spray it onto a clean rag and wipe the strings with that I suppose. But the denatured alcohol is also on my list of things to try. Of course nothing beats a new set of strings for getting the tone back. LOL
Im not impressed with the bassbrites. They didnt seem to do anything for my 2 month old rotosounds
