Is that a Vol/vol/bass/treb setup? If so you might stick a master vol in there. that's the only drawback to the vol/vol setup imo. Or just a kill switch would work too.

Yes, V/V/B/T configuration. Master Volume might work. Killswitch might work too. Depends on what I end up doing with it. I'm loving the low B, but the 35" scale is hard to get used to. I tuned it down a full step and capo'd the 2nd fret and it felt AMAZING. I've got short arms. :(

Does Spector make a 34" 5 string?

Come on Jeff...this guy was at one time a regular Joe like us. Let us celebrate his success. And also JPS's success of having his photos in a world known musicians magazine.

Yes they do. They haven't been making 35" very long.

There's actually a REALLY nice 5 string 34" NS5P for sale in the Classifieds right now. If I had the money, I'd buy it in a heartbeat--the maple is GORGEOUS on that bass.

So many basses..so little money...:bawl:

i loved mine. i regret everyday that i had to sell it :( i hunted the guy down that i sold it to and asked if he wanted to sell it back. beings that he told me he would sell it back to me if i moved back, i was so kindly to ask if he wanted to sell it back. he said no. douche!

Think I would just do the kill switch. My vol is either all the way up or off. Yeah almost all of the older basses are 34" scale. Great b on them too. The 35 just takes a little to get used to. I wouldn't trade it just yet. Give it a few weeks, best thing since sliced bread.
