TK I feel you pain. I ordered one of the new MM Rebops and I'm waiting for my Forte to come back from getting refinished. Time has frozen for me. Fortunately, I still have my NS2JA-R!

I received my former Forte 5 in less than 4 months which I really wasn't expecting that quick. It feels like with your very first special/custom order Spector it takes forever and time stands still, but the next time(s) it goes by quicker. Though with waiting for my new Coda 5 Deluxe I find that I'm getting really anxious! Mainly I think because I've been waiting almost 2 years to play a Coda let alone own one. Any day now!Hi all,
I'm curious to know if any of you have received a special order before the 4 month wait with any of your Spectors that were ordered?
Since placing my Euro order with GuitarHouse last week it seems like time has stopped and these 4 months are going to go by really slow till I have that baby in my hands.![]()
That is outstanding! Great to know there's companies like this still out there. Some of you may remember the issue I had with the M4 Xtender that I posted about in the last thread.
Although we somewhat agreed to disagree on the dangers of extending the tuning post (to match the length of the other tuners), I want to give big ups to Bill Woolery at Hipshot for fantastic customer service!
Even thought they really don't offer this service anymore, he had me send in my Xtender, did a one day turnaround extending the post the needed length to match the others, and I had it back in only a little over a week. All at no charge.
Once again, big ups to Bill Woolery and Hipshot.![]()
I'm going to try the new Rebop at BPL this weekend. That being said, I was thinking about calling it the Mmbop. Maybe not.![]()
Don't let it get you down zitch...it's because there's so much Spector goodness to try out there it's hard to stay with just one. Especially since its not like Fender where you can run down to the nearest music store around the corner and pull it off the wall and play it to see if that one is for you or not. Everyone is exploring until they find "that one" they'll keep for life. Until Spector reveals that next got to have bass!!! :scowl:Some of you guys go through Spectors like Gene Simons goes through women, its kind of discouraging, some of us would kill for an ns2 or custom wimbish or crfms. think I may stop lurking here for awhile.
Mbop would sound all right I think...instead of MmBop.I'm going to try the new Rebop at BPL this weekend. That being said, I was thinking about calling it the Mmbop. Maybe not.![]()

I also like 12's. At church I play thru a Ampeg Ba112. Love it!

does anyone know if the hipshot b style bridges used on the NS-JH6 are alluminum or brass?
Ok, so finally I can join the famous Spector club.
Got a ReBop 5 today. And I am extremely impressed!

Love it love it love it!
As primarily a Warwick man, I am absolutely blown away by the comfort, speed and lack of buzz/dead spots on this bass. I just. I have no words. It's up there with my favorite Wick.
Can't wait to get more of these!![]()
