It is really sold. The day I got it back from Carlton we sold it again. The current owner LOVES this bass. It is a really sweet bass.
It depends if it's an actual Euro 4LX or a CRFM (commonly mistaken for a Euro). All Euros have zinc-alloy bridges while CRFMs have brass (both are/were made in the Czech, but the CRFMs are older). An easy way to tell is to see if it's shiny and says Spector, otherwise, it's the matte brass one.

The "Euro4" & "Euro5" (2001-early 2004) basses also had the full brass matte bridges.

Oh, and worship, I have an old Biss bass flanger that I love. Could probably grab one relatively cheap. Just like the Digitech synth.

Did they? I thought the early Euros had solid maple wings but had a Zinc-Alloy bridge. But I may be wrong.

The zinc/brass alloy bridge may have come in towards the end of their run, but my Euro4 (and all I've seen) has the full brass bridge.
The "Euro" run is kind of the forgotten series in between the CRFM's & the "LX's". Too bad, as they're the best of the Czechs.

I wholeheartedly agree. Take a post SSD/pre LX Euro, stick a US 9v or 18V pre in it (depending on the pickups of course) and you are as close to a US model that you can get. They're amazing instruments. As much as I love my LXs, I'd swap them for pre-LX Euros in a minute.

Gentleman I have a question. If I order a new bridge from the Spector site for my Euro 4 string will the groves in the saddles be cut already when shipped or will they be blank? For my personal taste the G always is too close to the edge of the fretboard and I want to cut them myself. Thanks for any reply
