I'm surprised that's still posted as PJ, Stuart and JPS were all made aware of this and confirmed it with the manufacturer. They admited that they had the wrong info from the start.

Yeah... the page that just won't go away.
I've actually wanted to be sure that the info on the new site is accurate... we've been putting so many resources into the new site that the older one (which is the one you currently see) is actually going to be completely scrapped.
The new sites are wicked, very functional and stripped down because we've been able to break out the information into more digestible chunks.
Link Removed - the site for Stuart Spector Design, LTD. - the company - will have all the company/model history and service/support and dealer links.
www.spectorbass.com - will only have information regarding current bass guitar lines and artists - will link dynamically to Link Removed for dealer/history/company/tech etc...
www.spectorguitar.com - will only have information regarding current electric guitar lines and artists - will link dynamically to Link Removed for dealer/history/company/tech etc...
It's going to be a brave new Spector on the WWW.
And these new sites use high-resolution images... but load really fast. They're going to really kick it up another notch.And the history section will dive deeper into Spector's past than ever before. I've had three years to interview and talk with Stuart and PJ and Ned and the guys from EMG and Kramer and it just goes on and on.
There will be photos that no one has ever seen before. Videos of guitars being made... really... how they are made. The videos online that show the process are either outdated or misleading. Sad to say. The CNC plays a very little role in a few of the builds, and in some it plays no role at all.
USA Spectors are almost completely hand-made using hand sanders, scrapers, shapers, files and pin router templates.
When Spector says "Hand Crafted" it's not a joke.

Well I got my HAZ copy setup with 25K volume pots to handle the active emg's.
I had to splice some wires so it could all run off the 9v, added a gold output jack, and straightened up some of the stock wiring. Still not 100% done, just waiting on some screws for the rear control plate and a Gold bridge.

Okay, so for the last week my "blood numbers" have been down, which means I have no immune system. I have not been able to go to work far about a week and a half. On Friday my dad passed away, it of came out of nowhere, he was fine when I went through Chemo 2 weeks ago and went down hill within 2 weeks.
Through fighting all this stuff, I am now out of sick days, which means that this week when I can't go to work, no paycheck, so something has to go to cover medical expenses, living expenses and tickets home for Dad's funeral.
Okay, not telling you this to make you feel even more sorry for me, to tell you the truth it has kind of given me more strength to fight harder, my mom and sister and family can't lose me and my dad.
So I bought this Kramer NS-2 a while back kind of knowing I may have to sell it to cover some bills when stuff started getting heavy, but I have a question/favor to ask of all of you.
I have fallen in love with this Kramer NS-2 and I would love to be able to keep it, but something has to go.
So I talked with Jeff and Steve to make sure they were okay with it but wanted to ask all of you also and get your blessing to put up the Ian Hill for sale (I have the perfect person in mind) so that I can keep the Kramer. If I cancel the Hazlab and black bridge I have ordered for it along with the shipping to my guy to do the work, black tuners and money to have the work done, it's about even.
Jeff said he wants me to have the better bass, the one I want and to him he knows it would be the Kramer. The big thing is I don't want anyone to think I am not appreciative because I am more appreciative than you will ever know. Here's the thing: one person who did this for me has the smallest problem with it, I will not do it and put the Kramer up intead. If you have any problem with it at all, please just IM me, no reason needed, and I will not sell it.
