WOW...the other band and then there is the other bass player for the guys he jammed with last night, he is going to go in for the meeting and already know he lost his spot to the guy with the Spector called Seventhframe! lol

That's a very respectable move. I don't think any of us would fault you for that handle but it's classy to have it changed nonetheless. Not a day goes by when I don't think about Chris and his family. I will wear my L.O.E. bracelet well-into the foreseeable future.

Other news I have the NS-X and man...let's just say if I ever meet the previous owner (I got it from a pawn shop) I would definitely not invite them over for dinner. Working on cleaning and fixing this baby up, will post pics later tonight!

If anyone can help me out I would be greatly appreciated. I removed a EMG BTS and purchased a Tone Pump to install. I've done it like they suggest and I am getting nothing at the jack, only the local radio station not the bass. Any thoughts could you PM me. Here are some pics of the Tone Pump installed. Let me know if anybody sees a wire in the wrong place or any suggestions.

Is yours running an older EMG BTS? That's what mine has & it looked like it was stock.

Yep! That is what mine has in it too. It doesn't sound bad though! BUT...I'm looking at either replacing it with a Aguilar OBP 3 or Spector 18V circuit. It needs more oomph! I prefer stacked T/B knob, blend, volume,mids.

Great vibe - the effects sound really nice. I can see what you mean about not wanting a click. That's one of the biggest challenges I see when recording something "free-form" into a DAW. I do so much of my drum and keys stuff by MIDI editing that I inevitably want to assign a "grid" to it, but that kind of takes the magic away on a piece like this. There are ways to modify the metronome with timing curves and such, but that gets to be tedious.

I could see this piece as a cool intro to a song that starts with the riff you are playing around the 3:00 mark. I kept hearing guitars and drums come in and join you on it after a couple passes.

Most definitely a good kept secret. The ns94/5 and ns 2k4/5 are super basses for the money you get for them. Total goldmines.

Amen mad oooooh yeah! I've had the pleasure of playing both 5 stringers now. As I've said before...wish I didn't sell the NS-95. :scowl: But if I can score on an older NS-5...I think I could forget about the NS-95.

That finish really does come through with a different camera then the stock pics..

Id really like to get one but they only come in blue. It looks killer but my Euro 5LX is blue and I'd really love to get a green gloss finish.

Looks killer though, that blue sure is nice. I'd pick the Spector MM over the MM Ray anyday.

opened mine up< there are no red wires going to my jack on either tone pump equiped bass.
