Beware on the routing. The Spectors are routed tight around the EMG's, which can run a tad smaller than some other pickups. I wanted to install an Aguilar PJ set in one of my Euros for variety and they wouldn't fit. I'd already done a refinish, so I did not want to mess with the route.

I had to shave the sides of my 40Js down to get them into the routes. They're SUPER tight in there. lol

I just recently went back to a Tonepump in my Rebop 5 and couldn't be happier.

What he said. I've found that an EQ swap makes a bigger difference in tone than a p-up swap. Heck, even putting 500K pots in my P-bass was a bigger difference in sound than swapping the p-up.

Funny thing is, that was my TP, and Levi's BQC is now in my Euro, and I MUCH prefer that! Everyone's ear and ideal tone is different. It's a good thing we've all banded together, to share our used, didn't-work-out stuff!! :hyper:

Got the song list put together our next show which is called Cove Fest, there will be 8 bands playing next Sunday out at Grand Lake, Oklahoma. We got the time slot right before the headliner....excited to play and all I have to bring is my basses and plug in!

Hey guys like i mentioned a few days back the rebop up for sale to anyone in our group whose interested as soon as my phone returns on monday im putting it on CL wont kill you on price and with the diff preamp in it it has way more bottom end. Pics were a few pages back but im not using my phone so cant load em or can i. nope cant may consider a trade for a naked euro. dont need pups or preamp have those here. ty
