Todd tells me my NBD is Thursday! He sent this as a tease. ;) I'll post the real good shots later.

I'm really interested in trting out a 435LX.
Those that know me know how much I use a HipShot D-Tuner with the Double Stop lever (dripping my E down to B).
Now I'm not convinced that 35 Bsoundes better than a 34 B, but how I do things, I wonder if the 35 would indeed tighten up a .105 E dropped to B.

Right now, I honestly don't have any big issues, just more curious.

BTW- got my SSD back- truss rod repaired. So far zero issues. Just had to make a few adjustments over the last few days as the neck settles in.

Oh my....my oh my!

I used my Spectors in a particular band that tuned down one whole step to D. I used a .110 set of strings with just fine results. When we switched from covers to an original project (same members), we ended up going down to "C". Even with the .110-.050 set, I just found that I'd lost the tone of the basses and it was just too floppy for my taste. After some helpful advice from Andy Bunk and the guys at Bass Central, I picked up my first one (and later bought Andy's when he went on his US buying spree!!!). I use a .115 set of strings and it is just perfect. I just don't care for the traditional low B strings like a .125-.135. That 35" scale works wonders in my opinion. It may all be taste, but they have really been irreplaceable for me.

Dude!!

That's gonna be a killer looking bass!

Jeff, oh yeah!

dude... that is very nice.

 HOLY CRAP...THAT'S ONE CLASSY LOOKING BASS!!

WOW...Christmas came early this year ;)

Thanks guys! This will be my classy bass. The UV NS-2 will be my "Hey look at me" bass. LOL

I'll post the rest of the porn that Todd sent when I get home from work. :bassist:
