I love the Streamliner. I have to cut treble almost to nil when I play my Euro LX, but other than that, it's just great. If you get one, checkout the EQ thread on here, because it is not a just set it flat and forget it head. That's why many end up in the classifieds, people don't take the time to dial it in to their tastes.

I had one for a short while and a GK MB. I sold both as I just loved my Mesa Walkabout too much for the smaller gigs to make the switch. However, I will say that they are quite different in their sound. I would not say they are similar at all.

In addition, this year at Bass Central, I was trying out the new Bergantino CN212 cabinet with a Spector NS4. I rotated through 4 lightweight heads (Streamliner, Aguilar, EBS and GK). The Streamliner definitely stands the farthest towards a warmer, softer, tubey kind of sound of all of them. It comes down to preference, but the Streamliner definitely has its own thing going on.

I can vouch for the GB Shuttle 9.2. Great little amp!
I prefer having the sweepable midrange instead of being locked into three center frequencies.

I'm a Euro5LX owner with a GB Shuttle. I think that combo sounds great. The Streamliner, from what I hear, is tubyer but not as versatile. But if tube tone is what you're after the Streamliner is a good choice.

Dude, where have you been?! We've missed you.

Lol just working. My band split up in April as my singer/guitard got married and moved, so been trying to stay away and not be tempted to fire up the 'ol CC and get something nice!

I have decided however, my next Spector will be a USA NS-2 (in 35" scale, if they offer it?), tobacco sunburst finish, maple board, but with Bart p'ups and the 3 band EQ. I can't think of anything better and I've tried, with my time off! I'm going to try lurking more as I'm about to start a new project.

Seeking advice from you Spector veterans. I am thinking about buying a Spector Rebop 4 dlx as my second Spector aquisition. I want a Spector with dual humbuckers to complement my PJ Euro LX.

How good are the stock pickups? I have never used EMG Hz so far. Right now I'd most likely switch to EMG 35 DC in both positions, that should sound good.

Anything else to look out for with Rebops?

Last year I took a ReBop 4 DLX in trade and it had EMG-35P/J pickups with the non-trim TP and sounded excellent!
