You'll need a USA Spector Dealer (I don't mean location) in order to see a new NS-2.
Well you can still get pretty close w/ the Czech and Euro models! At least know enough if you want a USA or NS2 at all by checking those out, methinks.

There were two prototypes, BTW... one in black cherry burst gloss - the standard ReBop finish... the other in a stealth, matte black like Mike Kroeger's basses.
I really pushed for the matte black color. In the end, it's honestly all up to PJ. And he wanted to offer a blue black matte finish.
I am a black guy personally. I mean The Blue Dream is amazing and my Water Cured Redwood is amazing. But The Black Pearl is still my favorite.

This is the other side of the neck
Hey guys, it's been a whole since I've been on here, but I made an offer on a black zebop, but it has a cracked neck, it's an easy fix, but I just don't know if I should do it. Thoughts?
Hopefully the attachment works....
Youch!
Personally, I never trust repairs of that nature. :S Fingerboard? Sure. Neck? Nada!
I'd hit him at like $3-400 and then buy a new neck from Hanser MG! ^_^

Also, I changed my mind on the Euro build:
EuroLX Classic w/ 35" scale, black matte finish, black hardware, maple FB w/ black inlays, Bart P/J's but the Aguilar 2-band pre. Anyone have something like that here? I'd like to have the only one...![]()
Not sure I see where the Barts are an option for the Euro4LX.

It would have to be done at the shop via whomever I order it through I assume. I've always been a Barts guy so I've always wondered how they'd sound in a Spector. Todd's SSD NS-4 in the Classifieds has them in it.
My guitarist had this exact break in his Les Paul and it was fixed and better than ever now. Still, cracked necks are nasty business.
If done properly, the repair will be stronger than it was prior to the break.
Meaning, if there would be another blow to the neck, the repaired joint would hold and wood around it would break.
How much do necks run? I'm not opposed to that idea.
They can be better, because you're adding bracing & potentially more bolts. I just don't like the idea of using something that already broke once. :S
