I have been searching and found some interesting ideas he had that helped me with the fretless (different vibrato techniques, etc.). Like most I find that there are things you can pick up and add to your skill set...but...at first I kept thinking about why was he using a glove? lol

Wow, that was quick! Coda Pro 4 got here today.

First impressions. Well, it's a jazz bass, nice narrow neck, smooth, easy to play, well built, great jazz bass tone. Haven't really played much with the TonePump Jr - it works ok, but might upgrade to regular TonePump. Fingerstyle and slap both sound killer on this.

Congrats! Very nice quilt on that one.

Wow, that was quick! Coda Pro 4 got here today.

First impressions. Well, it's a jazz bass, nice narrow neck, smooth, easy to play, well built, great jazz bass tone. Haven't really played much with the TonePump Jr - it works ok, but might upgrade to regular TonePump. Fingerstyle and slap both sound killer on this.

Congrats! I'd love to give one a spin...

I won't say Ampeg is the end all be all, BUT I love my SVT6 pro... it basically nails the tone I was trying to hit with my GK

2 Spectors and a Schecter? Convert him! Bring him to the light!

Its an LTD actually, lol. But he went from schecter to LTD, He likes the spectors. Actually me and PJ have been trying to get him into a RX-GT for over a year, but he is cheap lol He got his guitars for less than $600 for 2 of them.

Even though I can afford it right now, I'm having a tough time spending 8-900 for a Euro (probably since I always look for the cheap stuff like USA Peavey basses) while I can get the NS2A for around 5.. How different is the sound between the two if they both have EMGs? Has anyone been in this situation before? Deciding between these two.. I usually go for whatever is cheaper because I think it'll be practically as good, but maybe that's why I end up selling my stuff without a second thought..

I paid $700 for my CRFM (early euro) Keep an eye out. One will pop up. It took me a few years to score one. But be careful, I you'll buy a second with in months of your first , LOL

as we know all things change and grow with time.

effective today, Patrick Stern will no longer be our Web Designer and Photographer/Videographer and will be moving his talents to new non-Spector projects.

Patrick has done an amazing job designing our current websites and capturing photos & videos of our instruments and artists.

his evident love for our instruments has shown in the brilliant work he has done for us.

this has been a mutual agreement and on behalf of Stuart, myself and everyone at Spector and we wish Patrick the best as he enters into his new endeavors.

I've owned a MIK Rex Pro 4 prior and while it was a nice bass, tone wise it wasn't even in the same league as the Euro for me. If you're on a tight budget IMO the MIK models are great but for the increase in price, the Euro is well worth it. I couldn't go back to playing a MIK Spector now that I've owned a Euro.

Woah...

IMHO, Patrick was an excellent ambassador for Spector, and did one hell of a good job to promote and enhance the brand.
I hope he still chimes in here at the club from time to time - I value his knowledge and insight, and his level-headed view point.

I love my Rex but its been upgraded with EMG DCs and a Tone Pump. The shape may not be for everyone but I Love the thing neck.

Absolutely true. The Euro crushes anything else in its price range, as well as many basses costing much more...
