Anybody try the Shure PG52-LC to mic their bass?
Or Audix F6?
For those who've done it themselves, how difficult would a preamp swap be in a Euro? My Black Cherry (provided I don't sell it) has the TP (love it) and the one I have coming in a couple weeks has a US18V, which I'm sure I'll love. All this reading about the grit and growl of the 9V pre is making me salivate though. Provided I could get my hands on one, is it a pretty easy swap to make?
Bad company on axs tv with a Spector filling the sound. I thought that bass sounded Badass when they started playing![]()

Still nobody knows anything about US Kramer era trussrod nuts? It turns out that noboby has ever replaced them but me?
OK guys, Im thinking of going all tube next year. I have it narrowed down to either a Mesa 400+ or a SVT 2 (non pro seems to be more liked over the pro)
Kinda leaning to the 400+ right now for a few reason, Can go 8ohms if I need to use my 212 cab, a bit lighter. but I hear the DI sound look garbage.

I'd go back to PJ, explain to him that he lead you to a dead end.
Also a consideration. BigBlock 750/Tintan V12 and the M9 but I hear the M9 is pretty clean ?
Anyone know if you can blend the channels on the V12 ?
