We've had a really dry winter and it takes a lot of work keeping all of them in excellent condition. I have a lot of great pieces I'm selling so feel free to check them out and ask any questions you might have. I am even selling off 2 NS-6 Spector guitars from the Kramer era. I know, I've lost my mind. Take advantage of it while you can because most of you know I hardly ever sell anything from the collection.

I did put them up on GuitarHouse.net for ease of viewing. Once you are on the site then go to the search box and type in Used Spector . They should then pop up for you to view. If you click on the instrument it will take you to another page. At that point just click on the picture and more views will pop up. I will be offering club pricing if anyone is interested.

Yes, the Wimbish is a 1.5" nut to copy the Jazz. I don't think the neck is shaved too on this. Maybe Todd will confirm.

I had my sights set on a bass that didn't have the maple stipe down the middle, yet I really like the walnut burl. PJ suggested quilted maple with the walnut stain.

I called Todd for the first time to talk about an order and he sent me the pics of this Wimbish and that convinced me.

Also, as soon as I sell something I'll be ordering a set of 40Ps to put in the NS5XL. Been wanting to hear the tone with those. I was going to get a NS4 with them but went with the FortReSS instead so I'll put them in Brownie. ;)

I played them both, one after another, and they feel the same. However, they sound nothing like each other! The red one is serial number NB0040 and the green one is serial number NB0067 or 0087, I can't really tell for sure.
I'll be putting new Low Riders on each one of them this week to make an equal comparison, unless someone here has a suggestion on a better string to get the Spector growl.

Very nice looking Euro basses Ken.

Well, my set of EMG Geezer PJ pickups (a passive set of EMG's with exposed pole pieces). Now I have to decide:

1. Put them in my natural 435lx to have a greater variety of tone (basically one with the US18V and one fully passive).
2. Put them in my Euro 4lx (the refin sunburst) then take the Aguilar OBP-2 out to put in my natural 435lx wired to 18v. This gives my main 2 live basses different preamps but both running at 18v for more consistency.

Opinions? I'm open to them as I really keep going back and forth.

If anyone is looking for a trim tonepump fully wired (it has already been changed to a single volume + balance pot setup), shoot me a pm. Happy to sell at a club price to one of you guys.

Yeah, considering an NS-2000/5 goes for $4-500 on average, I wouldn't go over $300 on that. I've been trying to talk a guy locally down from $350 on his Q4-Pro that he thinks is a Legend. -_-

I cancelled my order because the J pickup in that set is a Long J and Spector uses the Short J at the bridge.

I will pm you on the TP.
