Hi every one I posted a few days ago. I aquired a NS2 from Guitar Centar but i did not have pictures well here she is!!.:hyper:

Wow very nice....White Spectors look amazing...:D What location Guitar Center was it? Did you do it in person or did you have it mailed to you?

And you know they had to make a profit, can you imagine they probably gave the person who traded that in about $400.

400 or less even... and THEY were probably saying ... "Sucker"... LOL hahahha jokes on them, AYE:D

Yup. A white Kramer-Era NS-2.

Man. You are a lucky, lucky dog. That's one heck of a find.

Enjoy it!:D
Thank you Patrick, i am so grateful i found this bass ! It was just posted on the GC site, did not even have a picture. But 699 is a great price for a Euro ,but when they put the picture up I freaked! I knew it was a Kramer. When i called them they already had three people email them about this bass. If i had been a hour later i would have missed it. I posted earlier in the week that I had a 88 Ns2 in quilted maple that i lost to alcoholism and addiction really i regretted selling it, but i wasnt exactly in my right mind:D So grateful to be clean and sober and playing music again Especially with my first love an Ns2:bassist:

Lima guy It was a Gc in Illinois. I figured it had to really be beat up to be listed at that price. With the money back guarantee what did i have to lose. When it was shipped to me and i opened the box imagine my surprise when i found the bass to be in near mint condition! The bridge is not even tarnished. I cant tell you how many hours i have spent looking at the used gear sites and classifieds it finally paid off:cool:

How much did they charge you for shipping? Did they ship right away? I was about to buy something from them last month from a store in Texas but I just felt like they would take forever to ship it or charge too much for shipping.

Congrats again on a great find, that is the karma for loosing your previous Spector and now you can enjoy a Spector again since you have yourself sober :bassist:

LimaGuy The shipping was 50 dollars I ordered the Spector on a sunday, and the bass was in my hands wednesday evening no problems at all. Thank you, In this band my bandmates have never seen me drunk or high. One day at a time i want to keep it that way! Sobriety restored my health, relations with family and friends and blessed me with playing music again. I have some wonderful gear another dream bass (hint its before 72:D) but that's for another thread.

Ok, let's take a count. How many of us loaded up the Guitar Center website after reading that? :) I don't think I finished reading Celinder 72's post before bringing up another tab in my browser and going to the GC site, haha.

Funny thing is, I see a 4 string Forte on their site for a really cheap price. Am I missing something or do they make lower priced Forte's?

Surgery went well today.
She's in traction after spinal reconstruction.

There will be some followup cosmetic surgery to take care of irregularities in the skin, color and tone. All in all the prognosis is good and full recovery is expected as long as she doesn't reject the Mahogany spine or the neck reconstruction...

Here is a pic of her still on the operating table...

and you thought I was maybe talking about a human..... :D

That Forte 4 has been 4Sale a few months now. That's a Korean made Legend4 X, I believe. I looked at it hard and long back a few months ago. I've purchased several basses and amps thru GC and they've always been reasonable with shipping costs and quick delivery.

Anyone else having troubles getting videos on Your Unofficial Guide to ALL THINGS SPECTOR to load i.e. My Spector story, cool Spector videos?:eyebrow:
I've been trying for the last 2 hours with nothing loading after selecting a video. It'll change page but then a white screen with Spector in center.

I just checked it and everything came up fine for me on both my PC and my MAC.

So it might be something local towards your area... i.e. some general bandwidth issues. Sometimes an ISP will have issues or sometimes YouTube does. All the videos on SPECTORCentral are hosted by YouTube, BTW...
Try there.

It's actually a Korean-Made Rex-Pro. Neck-thru...

The giveaway is the cutout/bottom horn.

The Forte-4X and the new Legend 4X are basically the same shape as a Thunderbird. No horn-cutaways.

I can watch AllThingsSpector's directly from the YouTube site okay...it's just when I press the "watch this video" button from the spectorcentral web page it doesn't load...hmmm. If I'm the only one having trouble with it then it must be from my end. I'm using my iPhone on AT&T edge network as it's the only Internet access that I have. :(
Thank you JPS!

ARGH! I got tripped up by the " ole cut-away horn"... My bad! That $649.99 @ GC is a good price then. New price $1349.00.

What is this? Anyone??? The picture quality is so poor I can't tell from my iPhone is there's 3 or 4 control knobs? The bridge is shadowed out...he thinks it's a NS-4 but not sure. But it has dot inlays, not mops or abalones. $300.00 would be a steal for a NS-4!

My guess is NS2004....neck through with solid maple wings.....the giveaway for me is the brass nut. I think the price is great even if it is a Legend Custom, but they don't have brass nuts :D

I agree. It's an NS-20004.

The horn shape does it for me. That's the NS-2000 body style. The only Neck-thru with that body was the NS-20004.

Also, it has 4 control knobs.

NS-4 models, even in the SSD days have never been dot-necks. They've always had either MOP crowns or Abalone.

That's what I was thinking about the NS-4 also with the inlays...but there's always seem to be "the exception". Lol
If I had more than an iPhone I could see a bigger pic.
Thank you JPS!

Just had a brush with a possible "great deal" in the Guitar Center used listings.
There is a GC in Ohio that has a USED SPECTOR EURO HOLOFLASH for $549.
I called, but it is actually the Korean model. Which makes it overpriced for a used one.

From what I understand, they made some ReBops in Holoflash, correct?
