This positioning is actually reversed,
except for one thing:
Either the lighting is goofy or that is a TW, not a DC.
The spec description I posted was cut/paste from Spector website...
EMG DC at the neck
EMG J at the bridge

hahaha! You're right... The J is at the neck!

OOOH.. Paaaaatrriiiiick :D lol

I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, I just put my 2007 Warwick Corvette up for sale. I am already craving another Spector. :help:
I am thinking a ReBop to add to my 2 Euros and NS-2A.

Ah yessss.... another victim of the Spector Virus ...:eyebrow:
Welcome to our nightmare... I think you're gonna like it.... I think you're gonna feel... you belong..... yeaah....:bassist:

Since I brought this to the attention of the forum, I just sent the seller a message asking if this was a special order from Spector and if they can provide the ser# and date it was made from the back of the headstock.

From the description they provided in the listing; they either have no idea about basses or something is fishy.
Quote "IT HAS BEEN CHECKED OUT BY LOCAL GUITAR AND MUSIC SHOPS, ALL SAYING IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND A VERY GOOD ITEM"

They just joined ebay on 5/24/11 and this is the first item they are buying/selling, which adds to the "fishy" taste.

The Ebay NS-JH5 QM USA SERIES was just sold today. Hopefully, it ends up being a happy buyer and she ends up being shown on here with some nice High Res photos.

I am starting to think about doing this with my Corvette $$ as well. I really like the bass but am getting too spoiled by the action of my Euro 5LX.

Either the luthier I am using doesn't know what he is doing or there is something wrong with the neck on this bass. I have had to bring it back 3 times due to fret buzz so he suggested I try different strings. I told him to put Medium DR Hi Beams on and he put Light DR Low Riders so I think that explains what I am dealing with. I am going to try a different place since I am completely frustrated at this point.

My Euro 5LX has much lower action with zero fret buzz so it really got me thinking. It doesn't help that Bass Central has a really sweet green Rebop staring right at me on their web site either :)

Hi every one I posted a few days ago. I aquired a NS2 from Guitar Centar but i did not have pictures well here she is!!.:hyper:

Nice! Yeah I get a little dyslexic sometimes.
Thanks for catching that. The site is wrong. The guitar is right. Humbucker at the bridge... Jazz at the neck.

I'll fix it.

Thanks. And Phat... is this what it's going to take to get you to chime in more... I should make more mistakes on the SPECTOR website then...:hiding:

Ah Ha! That is TWICE! :scowl: but who is counting? :D:hiding: ;)

My advice, get the rebop and put active EMGs if you don't like the HZs. Still cheaper than a nechthru, 99% of the sound will be there.
I've had both the Rebop 5 and currently 2 neck-thru's NS-2A & NS-95.
If you go with a Rebop replace the nut with a brass nut if it doesn't already have one...you'll get tonal sustain almost equal to a neck-thru and a more raw growl. :cool:

I am this -----><----- close to doing the same thing...
Do it,do it,do it,do it,do it,do it,do it, :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper: &
You'll never look back! :ninja::bassist:
