It has taken a while, but I almost have my NS2 all cleaned up and put back together. Since we all love our Spectors porn, here are a few gratuitous shots of a classic.

After I took my Rebop to my tech guy, he cleaned the electronics, the treble boost is not as noisy - and the bass boost is a lot warmer.

The neck is a dream (I have no neck dive issues) - I can only imagine what a MIA NS neck would feel like.

A mate had one in the 80's,& we considered it to be simply the best(in every way)production bass on the market.

Well, I was trying to go with a wider string spacing.. Actually, you are right. The A & G are indeed Black(Beauties). I happened to have a couple of set of DR coated strings lying around, so I changed them out before the show. The other strings were Cool Blues.

This bass is one of very few (less the 10) Spector basses in existence so far with the Wide string spacing option, a slappers delight! This bass is also the ONLY SPECTOR EVER to have a single humbucker in the bridge position,

Both of those super custom features are no charge options on any US BO Spector. If it's new then it's decent price, but either way the seller is blowing a lot of smoke.
